Chapter 41: 𝐻𝑒𝑙𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐶𝑎𝑡𝑠

Y/n ran through the forest with a smile smile on his face.
He was running towards the Nekoma territory by following the scent of berries.

The wolf was really happy today.
He got to met Aoba and Karasuno this morning and he was planning on seeing the cats and Aone too.

Y/n was really happy that he he friends even though he's still grieving for his clan.
He's just happy over all that he had people by his side.

Y/n jumped over logs and critters as he raced towards Nekoma.
He jumped out of a bush and sniffed the area.

A (h/c) tail started to wag.
He was in the right place.

Y/n walked pass the berry bushes, not feeling like wanting to snack on it.
He went through some trees trying to avoid the sticks on the forest for since he knew how much Lev likes them.

He pushed large leaves out of his face as he came up to a busy Nekoma clan.
(E/c) eyes scanned the area to see if he could find his friends.

The (h/c) tail wagged even more when he noticed his neko friend group.
Y/n went around the small wooden buildings, trying to avoid contact with other cat.

He soon came up to the small group of cats he was looking for.

"Iron, gold, some cloth, berries, are we missing anything Kenma?" Kuroo asked as Yaku was folding some clothes.

Lev was watching Yaku fold and trying to fold some clothes himself.
But he kept messing up making Yaku slightly irritated.

Kenma held onto a thin bark of wood as he uses paint that is made from plants and animal fat to write.
He scanned the list of thing, crossing out the stuff the already had.

"We have almost everything, just need some more berries and we'll be good," Kenma said as he crossed out one more thing on his list.

"So are these enough?"

The cats turned to the unknown, yet familiar, voice.
They all smiled when the noticed that it was Y/n who said it as he held a small bag of berries.

"Y/NN!!" Lev cheered as he leapt at the shorter.

"OI!! LEV!! YOU'RE GOING TO CRUSH Y/N!" Yaku yelled as he went over to the younger's.

Kenma deadpanned at Lev's recklessness.
Kuroo just smirked at the sight of the wolf.

Lev got off of Y/n, per Yaku's request.
But he held onto Y/n like he was some sort of doll in his arms.

Y/n just relaxed in the taller's arms, knowing that he couldn't get out of it.
He stuck his tongue out. Why? Because he can.

Kuroo snickered as he approached Y/n and Lev.
Kenma looked at the black haired neko because of his weird laugh.

"Oya, Lev you're going to drop Y/n if you keep lifting him up like that," Kuroo said as he had an irritation smile while taking Y/n out of the younger's arms.

"Eh?! No I wont!!" Lev complained.

Y/n just had dots for eyes as he looked back and forth at the two cats verbally fighting.
Kenma came up and hugged Y/n from behind and propped his chin on (h/c) hair.

"Hi Kenma-San," Y/n said with a smile as he looked up slightly.

Kenma looked down and buried his face in the fluffy (h/c) hair.
He was hiding his blushing face from Y/n.

Yaku just huffed at everyone.
He really wanted to hug Y/n too, but the Trading Festival was coming up very soon and they had to be prepared.

The brown haired neko went back to folding clothes.
Y/n noticed this and that Yaku was alone.

Y/n got up from the ground, leaving a confused Kenma to follow him.
He sat down next to Yaku as he watched him fold clothes.

Y/n started to pick up clothes and fold them by copying Yaku.
Kenma was surprised on how quick Y/n picked up from Yaku's folding skills.

Yaku was going to fold more clothes but when he reached out for mor cloth he noticed that there weren't any.
He was confused so he turned to his side and noticed a (h/c) haired wolf folding the last cloth, correctly.

Yaku blushed but smiled, "Thanks Y/n," he said.

Y/n just smiled and nodded, "Of course, there was a lot and I thought you needed help."

Yaku blushed slightly at this.
He was very grateful for Y/n's help since Lev couldn't do anything right.

"I feel offended," Lev said as he slightly glared at Kuroo.

"What? Offended that I called you a kit?" Kuroo smirked.

"No it's not— YOU CALLED ME A WHAT??"

Kuroo's smirked dropped a bit, "Talk about late reaction..."
