These are the notes I wrote when I actually started developing the plot after writing the first few chapters. I am very sorry for leaving you all hanging and I wish I had the motivation to finish the story, but I figured that telling you all what was supposed to happen was better than radio silence!!

- Zuko gets Sokkas help to find the last lion turtle
- Sokka agrees, but only if Zuko agrees to go to the southern water tribe to reunite with his family
-Zuko, who was still wearing fancy clothes and jewels when he was banished, sells his belongings to buy a small ship and supplies for their journey.
-There are gonna be obstacles and stuff just like in the show. Monsters and stuff as filler chapters where Zuko and Sokka get to know each other better. I also wanna have a scene where they spar I think that would be fun.
-Katara joins, but they find Aang and she splits off on a separate journey with him (at the end of the story it's implied that Zukka joins them). It's all good though cause Sokka knows his tribe and family is okay and that he can go back home if he wants to.
-when Zuko finally finds the last lion turtle, it asks "Why should I give you bending?" Zuko replies "It's the only way to regain my honor and return to the fire nation" in true Zuko fashion but THEN the lion turtle replies with something all cheesy and wise like "Is honor what you want? Have you not yet realized that your home may not be in the fire nation, but with the people who helped you get all the way here? Or that honor is not the only thing in life, and that love and loyalty are much, much more satisfying? Do you truly wish to return to the fire nation?" And Zuko is REELING and goes "No, I dont. I wasn't loved there. I don't wanna go back." He turns around and looks Sokka dead in the eyes and goes "I wanna stay with you. you're my home."

Very sorry for neglecting this story and just leaving it here. I honestly just forgot about it and now I don't really have the inspiration or motivation to finish. I appreciate everyone who read it, commented, voted, and enjoyed my story :) also the names of some of your reading lists are very questionable lmfaooo
