After putting the crazy talk away for a while, Elena and I managed to get to class on time before the professor got there. Even though we took the long route to class, we still made up some pretty good time. For the rest of the class, they would most likely show up late on purpose, but hey, at least I admit I like being on time.

As we approached the lecture hall, Elena pointed towards a guy who was sitting in the lunch area with a bunch of other people. Her expression changed as she let out a small laugh.

"Huh, guess who decided to show up early this time." Elena said happily as she hurried over to the guy.

The guy was on his phone, but even from a distance, you can tell he stands out among the crowd. It was mostly for his hair, he had a spiky-fringe haircut and a clean shave that looked fresh, plus he had on some athletic shoes that looked like they cost a fortune.

If that wasn't enough, he was wearing a dark blue bomber jacket with a white T-shirt under it that looked whiter than most people's teeth. I swear to god, he takes care of his outfits more than his grades. Still, he was that guy though.

Elena passed me and quickly walked over to him, the guy perked his head up to her and smiled instantly.

"Well, well, well, look who decided to ditch me this morning. Care to explain?" The guy said cheerfully as he stood up. He put his hands on Elena's hips and she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I had to visit our friendly neighborhood weirdo, but I can make up for lost time."

"You can make it up right now." The guy teased as he leaned down and kissed her on the lips.

Oh Jesus, not again.

The couple kissed for the next twenty seconds, like come on people, this is learning area, take that stuff to your room.

"Alright, alright lovebirds, keep the PDA to a minimum. I haven't eaten breakfast today and I'm already on the verge of throwing up. Bleeegh!" I said mockingly, making gaging sounds every time their lips meet.

The guy quickly pulled away from Elena and smiled at me.

"Aww, come on, Garcia.  A little love hurts nobody, plus I needed some sugar to wake up. You know I gotta sweet tooth, right?"

I rolled my eyes and let out chuckle.

"Sure, Aaron, because we all know you have a sweet tooth every morning when your around her. You know that sweets are bad for your teeth, right?" I said playfully. Aaron smiled and showed off his pearly whites, looking right at me.

"For real, I didn't notice."

"Okay, okay enough show-and-tell guys. Can we move this conversation into class before all the good seats are taken?" Elena asked.

"Yes please, we need those front row seats! Gotta get the best view f--"

"NO." Elena and Aaron said at the same time. Damn, some people just don't like to learn. The two walked ahead of me, holding hands as they walked through the doors.

"Oh shit, Joey."

"Yeah, what's up?"

"There miiiiight be a little surprise for you when class starts, so make sure to sit up straight when it goes down, okay?" Aaron said cheerfully.

....huh?

"Wait, 'surprise', what surprise, Aaron?"

He ignored me and continued to walk.

"Aaron? Aye, Aaron, what surprise?! AARON?!"

What the hell did he do?

I swear to god he always does this. He's always setting me up for some goddamn surprise that'll embarrass me like always. That's what Aaron does, put his friends on notice whenever he can, but can you blame him though? He's been my bud for years so he knows me better than anyone. Okay, that's bullshit, Elena knows me better, but Aaron is a close second, like by a millisecond he's close to me.
