Chapter Eleven: All Hell Breaks Loose

A loud, brutal scream tore through the air as it rang out! I quickly turned my head towards the noise and the crowd did the same! 

People were crowding around the side entrance of the resort. I quickly pushed my way through the crowd, made it to the front... and my heart dropped.

There was a man grabbing the side of his neck. He was trying to reach out to the crowd, but people we're backing away and watching the horror unfold! The man was choking on his own blood as he coughed it up and spilled it on the ground! Blood was gushing out of his neck like a faucet! He started to tremble, barley able to walk, but he managed to come towards me.

As I reached out to help him, the man dropped his arm, releasing his hand from his neck. His blood squirted towards me and landed on my face! 

I flinched back, but it was too late. 

The man dropped to the floor. Dead. His eyes rolled into the back of his head as his body laid there.

W-Wha... What the f---

"RRRRAAAAAAAAGGHHHHH!!!!"

No... no, no, no, God no! PLEASE, NO!

Another scream rang out, but it was different, familiar.

My heart started to pound in my chest and I started to breath heavily!

I looked up and saw a figure charge out from the double doors! Even in the darkness of night, I could see the silhouette of that creature! It's dark gray skin illuminating in the moonlight and it's sharp teeth poking out of it's mouth! The creature was on all fours like some sort of animal and it's bright yellow eyes were drawn the crowd as it looked around! 

People started to panic and murmur as they quickly backed away from it, but that caused the monster to lash out! It roared loudly and charged towards the crowd! Everyone scrambled away and screams tore through the night as people fled for their lives! Without hesitating, I ran back towards the main stage, hoping to get far away! 

Shit, shit, shit, shit!

My heart went into overdrive as I tried to push through the crowd! I felt like I was trapped in the group and that the creature was right behind me! Fuck! All I could hear were screams and roars as things go from bad to fucking worse!  

All I could think about was getting far away, but mostly... I was thinking about my friends. 

Elena, Aaron... please, please be okay, please!

The crowd quickly broke apart and I saw an opening into the resort! I sprinted through the madness and hauled ass inside! 

Oh shit.... no, what... wh-- oh my god!

I... I couldn't move. I couldn't look away. 

They're dead. All of them. Dead. 

Inside the lobby, bodies we're laid across the floor! Blood stained the floors and the smell of it hit me like a freight train! 

"Bleeerrghhh.... oh shit... arrghh!" I started to gag at the smell if blood! I covered my mouth, trying to hold it in, but it's too much! Jesus Christ, no! 

I wanted to look away, but the violence was everywhere! All around me, bodies we torn open, intestines hanging out, limbs were torn off, and screams echoed in the resort! Tourists, employees, and... classmates, dead. Right in front of me. I cautiously walked through the bodies and made my way to the front desk and saw the a clerk lying on the front desk, her eyes are gouged out and her chest is torn open!
