It was Friday, about a week after I asked Spencer if he wanted to go get coffee sometime. We probably would have gone sooner, but between our unpredictable work schedules this was the best we could do.
I woke up to the sound of my alarm and the sun peeking through my curtains. I roll over and grab my phone off my nightstand and turn off the alarm I set for 10am. Letting out a yawn, I stretched my arms above my head, feeling my shoulders crack. After sitting in bed for a few more minutes I decided it was time to get up, so I passed across my hardwood floor into my bathroom.
I turned on the shower and while it warmed up I went to go grab a towel from my closet. When I got back the water was nice and warm so I got in. I washed and conditioned my hair, then washed my body with my coconut body wash. I rinsed off, feeling the suds run down my body. I turned off the shower and grabbed my towel, trying to quickly dry myself off.
After stepping out of the shower, I wrapped myself in my towel the brushed my teeth and blow dried my hair, slightly curling it at the ends. I walked out of the bathroom, first to my chest of drawers to pick out undergarments- a plain black bra and panties. Then I went over to my closet to pick out an outfit, I eventually decided on a black turtleneck, straight leg jeans, and my docs. Since it was a bit chilly out, I decided on a plaid long coat.

Going back to my bathroom I pulled out my makeup, deciding only to do a natural look- mascara, fill in my eyebrows, and a peach colored lip gloss.
I looked at my phone, it was 11:30, I should probably get going. I grabbed my purse and headed into the living room to be greeted by Leah.
"Damn you look good!"
I did a little spin for her, "thank you," I said while walking over to her to give her a hug, "I've got to go or I will be late."
"Ok you get him girl," she smiled, "oh and wrap it before you tap it," she winked.
"Leah!" I scolded as my face turned red.
"I know, I know, just have fun."
"I will," I said while opening the door, "try not to get into too much trouble while I'm gone."
"No promises."

I arrived at the coffee shop about 15 minutes later. Both Spencer and I happened to frequent this place often because it was close to both of our workplace's, it was honestly surprising we haven't run into each other before.
As I walked in and took in the smell of freshly brewed coffee, I looked to my right and saw Spencer sitting at a table, engrossed in a book. I walk up behind him, "Hey Spencer."
