**Oz POV

How did my life get so crazy?

One minute, I was just a standard pediatrician. Now, I was a damn superhero.

How the hell did that even happen? It shouldn't have happened, I didn't think I was that special or have an awesome origin.

I was just...Dr. Oz Blue, someone that wanted to help kids get better.

Currently, I was in the elevator with Bex, as she was texting someone.

I was curious, no doubt about that.

"Not to be...too in your business, but who are you talking to?" I asked her and she didn't look up at me as she answered.

"Kyle." She said simply.

That caught me off guard.

I narrowed my eyes at the back of her head, "Kyle? As in the head of Janus? The one that made my belt and stuff?" I asked.

Bex seemed to laugh and put her phone down as she turned to look at me.

"Yes, the same Kyle. Why are you shocked at me talking to him?" She asked with a smile.

I looked from her to the elevator door and back.

I shrugged nervously, "Um...no idea. I was just, I don't know, caught off guard."

This seemed to make her laughed even more, "We're in a relationship."

Okaaay...

The elevator doors opened, and thank god I was out of that conversation. I did not want to know who she was dating and stuff.

"Soo...when are these other recruits coming in? Do I know them or something? How many are there?" I asked, just wanting to change the subject.

We got to the main room and Bex sat down, opening the laptop that was on the table. I went to the coffee pot.

Bex checked on something and then said, "We're getting one today, the rest should be coming within the next two weeks. They're all in different parts of the world with their work."

I nodded along, bringing her a cup of coffee along with me as I sat with mine.

"What are they like?" I asked.

That's when she looked up at me, her eyes meeting mine. Huh, never really realized her eyes were green when I met her.

As she looked at me, she asked me, "You're full of questions today, aren't you?"

"It's only been a week since I basically became a superhero, sorry if I lagged on the questions." I said to her.

Bex just laughed and went back to her laptop.

Then, I heard the elevator go off again. We both looked at who was getting off, since no one here except a few people knew of the floor.

We then saw it was Director Lee.

Man, he was so strict. A little scary too when you think about it.

I'd rather fight another data being or a kid scared of shots than him on a bad day. His temper was pretty bad.

Behind him, was a woman with long black hair and glasses. Her features were about the same as his, or pretty similar.

"Rebecca, Dr. Blue, this is Dr. Skylar Lee. She is your second recruit for the rider program." Director Lee introduced.

She rolled her eyes at him, "Dad, I can introduce myself. You can call me Sky." She said, giving a hand out to Bex and me.

Bex took it first, "Nice to meet you in person. I'm just Bex and this is Oz, we're pretty informal in this division."
