Rosé paid close attention to Lisa and her mother; loving looks were exchanged, and both had beaming smiles. The lonely girl would have liked to have received the same treatment from her own mother. The scene was strange; Lisa was arrogant and had a nasty temper, but she was a different person with her mother. In the 18th century, at least in the Cavendish household, all the family members were rigid and cold. Rosé didn't know if other noble class families may have had different attitudes towards their children but seeing how Chitthip placed her hand on Lisa's shoulder made her wish for a second that her mother had done that with her. Chitthip noticed the girl had her eyes lost in her plate. She concluded that the blonde girl looked too healthy to be nauseous.
"Rosé, are you alright? You haven't touched your food."
The girl shook her head and looked at the older woman. "Forgive me; I have my mind full of thoughts."
The young girl held up her fork and knife to cut into her meal; Lisa rolled her eyes at her annoying proper etiquette. Rosé had her back straight as a wooden plank, the tips of her fingers barely held onto the utensils, and her wrists lifted in an almost involuntary motion. The "psycho" was nothing less than a proper lady.
"This meal is delicious. I think I'll come here more often."
"There are a lot of restaurants where you can try food from all over the world." The waiter approached their table with a blush and a notebook in hand. Chitthip gave the boy a knowing smile. "Would you like an autograph?" He shyly nodded; he had heard the actress was a sweetheart with fans; to see it and feel in person was a dream come true.
Lisa noticed the puzzled look on Rosé's face, and impulsively leaned into her ear to closely whisper what was going on.
"My mother is doing the same thing you saw me do at the fan sign event. Do you remember?" She drew on the table with her finger. "A simple signature could make a fan very happy."
Her whisper had sent shivers down Rosé's body; she didn't understand why her body had reacted that way. Rosé turned her face to look at the emerald-eyed girl. Their faces were so close that she could feel the heat emanating from the other girl's skin. The model's perfume had caused a weakness between her thighs. Why was she having this reaction if she wasn't interested in women?
Lisa bore enlarged orbs, a bit surprised. Why was Rosé blushing? The model properly returned to her seat and saw that her mother had been observing with a smile. "What?" she whispered to her mother but didn't understand the expression her mother returned. Chitthip wasn't stupid; she had been carefully watching the girls. Rosé gave the actress an uncomfortable smile and focused on her plate. From what Lisa had told her, she could deduce the actress had even more fame than the model. The blonde girl had seen how she treated her fans; it was definitely something the dark-haired model had inherited from her mother.
"Lisa, I hope you haven't forgotten that your father's birthday party is on September fifth with the whole family. Saturday will be open to everyone else."
"No, mother, I couldn't possibly forget such an important date." Her tone showed that she did not like being retold the obvious.
Chitthip placed her utensils towards the side. "I know you have a busy schedule, and sometimes you forget things. You've grown so quick; I forget that you're a twenty-six-year-old woman." She caressed her daughter's hand with such sweetness that it almost made Rosé want to cry. The girl never experienced that loving affection from her parents.
"Rosé, do you have a hobby? I don't think working for my daughter's publicity team is one of them."
"Hobby?" She didn't understand what she meant by that. Lisa sometimes didn't comprehend the effect of "amnesia" had on the girl, but she quickly intervened before her mother could tell there was something off about the "psycho."
