Lisa looked at the magazine an anxious girl was waiting for her to autograph. Yes, she was an arrogant bitch, but she was a different person when it came to her fans. She was sure of one thing if she didn't have her fans, who would buy her merch? Besides, her fans just fed her narcissism. In Lisa's mind, those who deeply loved her and worshiped her were somewhat worthy of her love. She paused a moment to appreciate herself on the cover; she was hot! She loved every photo of herself; she could never take a bad shot. Lisa signed the magazine and sincerely thanked the little girl with colorful hair and cute freckles.

"Thank you, thank you!" The fan said with hinged breathing. The little girl's knuckles had turned white from the pressure she clung onto the magazine; it was now her most treasured possession.

Lisa loved her fans' reactions. After saying goodbye to the little girl, Lisa went to her car to rest for a moment. She had come to an office in the center of Los Angeles to talk to a representative for Universal Pictures. The company had been negotiating with an author of a popular book to make it into a movie. They had called Lisa because they wanted her as the main protagonist. She hadn't read the book, but she knew it was a worldwide success. The casting director decided to give Lisa some time to read the book and think about the offer. She was given two weeks to give her final answer, but how could she say yes when she still wasn't ready and didn't have a manager? These were things she had to really think about.

The paparazzi followed her; other celebrities would tell them to go away but not her. Actually, she would smile and pose before entering her car. She wasn't going to waste the free publicity. Despite this, she still saw the paparazzi as lowlifes that were only good at giving her free P.R.

Once she was in her car, Lisa's phone rang. It was Jungkook.

"My dear Lisa," His tone was dripping with sarcasm," where are you?"

"I'm outside of Universal; why?" She knew why he was calling; it was something she couldn't put to the side anymore.

"You need to come to the hospital, Lisa; it's about Miss Cavendish."

After a few more words, Lisa tossed her phone to the passenger seat and quickly sped off, trying to lose the paparazzi. The model had come to an agreement with her best friend regarding the woman she nearly accidentally killed but luckily saved. Since he studied and worked at the hospital, Jungkook would watch and take care of the girl. Meanwhile, Lisa would have to stay away to not interfere with the girl's treatments; she had also agreed to take care of all the medical costs. There was something she had been avoiding that couldn't be delayed any longer; she needed to find a place for the woman to stay.

As was expected, Lisa snuck in through a side entrance so no one would see her. She needed to keep her presence and identity at the hospital a secret. The famous model took an elevator to a waiting room where her friend expected her to speak in private. Lisa prayed. No, she wasn't religious, but she prayed that things didn't turn out the way she dreaded.

"Quick, come in. We don't have much time." There wasn't even time for hellos between the two friends. Manoban listened to her friend and sat on the couch." You look great today. Did you go to the meeting?"

"It was a little complicated. I'll have to learn how to live without a manager for a couple of days. I can't memorize things and organize everything... yeah, it's really not my thing." She took out her sunglasses and stared right into his eyes," How is she?"

"You want me to be honest? ; That girl wouldn't even hurt a fly. She talks rather oddly. It;'s as if she's a girl from one of those historical English movies. She's always so proper, but I feel as though she has this great sorrow. She has this sad look in her eyes; every one has noticed it. With respect to her health, we were able to rule out pneumonia, but she suffered a cold these past few days. Do you have any idea the mess you've gotten yourself into? You're lucky she only got a cold. She was on the edge of death that morning you brought her in."
