Third person's pov:

Yoongi yawns scratching his nape, gently kneads his aching neck. It's one of those days where he had to work his ass off till dawn to complete his assignments, having been piled up all the months. Hence he is here in the cafe near his dorm to get a breather early in the morning.

There are not many people, except those who are out for their early work and few students like him sitting here and there.

He takes a sip from his mug of black coffee, as the taste of caffeine hits his taste buds, leaving a bitter taste. He sighs staring through the window into the distance which is filled with nothing but white snow as long as his sight could reach.

The doorbell chimes in, earning his attention. He sees an orange headed guy enters the cafe. The boy has worn a chocolate brown thick woollen jacket and a white woollen hat, making him look like a cute mochi; as his cheeks are adorned with the natural blush.

The boy didn't seem to have noticed him as he gives his order and takes a seat near the window on the right corner.

"Hey, how are you, Jimin?" Yoongi greets him, taking the seat across the table, as Jimin's brooding face morphs into a pleasant smile, making his creased eyebrows relax.

"Oh, Yoongi hyung! When did you come?" Jimin asks him sounding surprised to see the older after a long time out of nowhere.

" Well, I have been sitting here since you entered with that brooding face."

"Oh sorry hyung, I didn't notice." The younger boy laughs being embarrassed- his cheeks turning redder.

"It's alright. How have you been Jimin? I don't see you much these days."

Jimin sighs, keeping his belongings on the table, as he takes a bite of his chocolate cheesecake. "I have been really busy with my college work, hyung. I haven't even got the time to meet Seokjin hyung."

"Oh, by the way, how is Tae?"

Yoongi leans back in his chair to sit more comfortably; spreading his right hand over the backrest of the chair." Well, he is doing all fine. Recently he moved in with his boyfriend, so that little shit is happy. Since he moved in with Namjoon, I had to move into the dorms." He sighs, going back to sip his black coffee.

"Oh really? That's cool. Tae always wanted to shift with Namjoon hyung."

"Yeah, his whipped self can't stay away from his man" Yoongi laughs fondly, speaking of his cousin.

" I'm so happy for him, but when are you going to tell hyung?"

"Huh?"

"Tell Seokjin hyung?"

Yoongi's sleek eyebrows crease, confusion etching on his face, as he squints his cat eyes. "Tell what?"

Jimin sighs being exasperated ." Hyung, at least don't act oblivious here. I know. In fact all of us know ."

"Know what?"

"That you like him!"

Yoongi doesn't say anything as a heavy silent befalls between them.

Yoongi met Jimin through Seokjin. He isn't very talkative and kind of reserved around the new people, but with Jimin, within few days he got comfortable around him, as he noticed his genuine personality who always wished good for others. Over that the boy is loveable and nothing but an adorable ball of sunshine.

Jimin breaks the heavy silence and says." Hyung, please tell Seokjin hyung before it's too late. If you don't tell him he will never realise cause he has done his PhD in being oblivious."

Yoongi chuckles at the exaggeration. " It's complicated Jimin. I don't know if he sees me as anything other than his friend. He pauses. "And also I don't think I'm ready for the rejection."

Jimin frowns, "Hyung , I thought you are a smart guy, but look at you talking like an absolute idiot."

"Hey!" Yoongi scowls being offended.

" Look here Yoongi hyung, if you don't tell him, how would you know? Just do it, so that you won't regret later; 'cause life always doesn't give you second chance. When you have an opportunity just grab it."

Yoongi's gummy smile spreads across his handsome face by hearing the sensible words of the younger." Okay, Park Jimin-ssi, I will try."

Both of them smile, as once again silence envelopes the room.

" Enough about me. Now tell me, why did you seem a little worried when you came here? Is everything alright?"

"Oh that, it's nothing...." He pauses to see the other, who is looking straight towards him, eyebrows raised, making him heave a heavy sigh. "well, it's a long story, hyung."

Yoongi straightens his back, " well my classes start in the noon though."

Jimin giggles at Yoongi's unique way of saying that he would listen to him, whatever he got to say.

"Ah well, when I was coming here my hyung called me. He was upset about one of his cases."

"Your hyung is a police officer right?"

"Yeah, that's right."

"So, there is this famous case, which he wants to get a proper closure to it. But his higher officials are asking him to close the case, since it's been long time and they think there is nothing more into it. But my hyung doesn't want to close it. He has been upset about this from past few days and now they are just pressuring him to close it."

" Over that, it's a case related to our university too."

" Our University-related case?"

"Yep, you might not know about this. There was this boy named Jisung who used to study in our Uni-it is his murder case. Some claim it as a missing case too. But later they declared it as a murder. To be honest everything about that case is so unclear and chaotic, that's why my hyung wanted to go into the roots-but alas!

"So, it's a murder case?"

"Yeah. And you know what, he was Seokjin's hyung's senior too when he was in the second year. I even tried to talk about this to hyung once, but he seemed uneasy, so I stopped talking about this issue."

Jimin sighs, staring at his now empty plate.

"Jimin, do you know how he was murdered?"

Jimin gets bit surprised with Yoongi's sudden question coming out of nowhere, but never the less he answers.

"Oh about that, there is a claim that he got hit with a baseball bat "

"Oh"

Yoongi doesn't say anything as he stares through the window into the distance.

A/N: If anyone is confused or forgot who Yusung is: he was Seokjin's senior, who was trying to force himself on Seokjin. And well rest what happened y'all know, I believe. 😩
