Not them again

"Diego how many times do I have to tell you that I will not go into the forest at night with you." you complained to the jockey. For some reason he was annoying you the whole day with that topic and you honestly had no idea why he wanted to go there, especially at night. "Are you afraid?" he teased with a smirk to which you remained your pokerface. "Yes."

Pouting he dropped down on the couch and cried out his problems to Kira who was reading a newspaper, not showing the slighest of interest in Diego. With a groan you looked at the clock and saw that it was already 6pm. Yet again a boring day where nothing really happened. The biggest highlight today actually was Dio chasing after Diavolo because he stole his favourite lipstick. So maybe Diego was right and it would be a nice change to go out a bit.

"Alright Diego we can go, but let's get going now, I don't want it to be completely dark." you gave in and earned a thankful look from Kira. Now he was finally able to read his newspaper in peace.

Practically jumping out of the couch Diego was quick run in the hallway to put on his shoes and a jacket. "Does anyone else want to join us?" you asked the rest of your roommates as you too stood up to follow him. "No, I am sure they do not-" Diego couldn't even finish his sentence when Valentine already stood up and walked past you towards Diego. "I think I too need to see something else for a bit." he claimed as he too put on his jacket and shoes before he waited for you to open the door.

Seeing that no one else wanted to join you you all went outside to take the elevator downstairs. Once outside you noticed that it was a bit colder than you thought it would be, but not unbearable. "You know, when you are cold feel free to hug me." said Diego and casually swung an arm around your shoulder. "Idiot." mumbled Valentine and facepalmed, which thankfully went unnoticed by the jockey, you really didn't want another argument to start today.

 After a short while you heard the door of your apartment being opened and closed shut again, followed by some footsteps running towards you.

"Wait for me!" shouted Doppio as he came running to you while trying to put on his jacket. He almost tripped a few times, but eventually was able to catch up without falling. You all had stopped in your tracks and turned around to wait for Doppio. Almost out of breath he hugged your arm to calm down a bit before he let go again to walk next to you.

On your way to the near forest you all just talked a bit about the normal stuff nothing really special. "Guess what I heard about Kars today." said Diego.

"What is it?" questioned Doppio while he picked up a stick from the side of the road. At first you wondered what he planned to do with that, but he just let it hit against a metal fence as he walked on to create that funny sound.

"Him and Kira were talking about their music tastes and Kars said that he knows how to play the guitar." said Diego trying his best to hold in a laugh. You had to admit that it was hard to believe that he could do that, just imagine that buff man playing the guitar. However somehow you could imagine him actually doing that, definetely something you had to ask him about.

As soon as you entered the forest you felt a bit creeped out by the dark atmosphere. It was always so quiet there and it being almost dark outside made it even worse than being here in the daylight. But having those cheerful guys next to you really was helpful for you to stay in a good mood.

That was until Diego decided to play hide and seek, not even caring about you saying 'no' to that. He just ran off the road straight into the forest and if you were honest you didn't want to follow him in there. Sensing your discomfort Valentine tried to convince you that he probably didn't go in that far and offered to go after him, leaving Doppio and you alone. Everything would be fine if it wasn't already half an hour that the both of them were gone.
