Going shopping

How are you going to tell them that they all looked... slightly different from what you know. Last time you talked about clothing Dio seemed to be rather sensitive about it. However you were not going to let them walk around like this. The only decent ones here were Kira, Doppio and Kars but also only because you lend him some clothes. After all, they had to change their clothes at some point so you should buy something as soon as possible.

"Alrighty, I got some really nice plans for us today", you said with a small smirk adorning your lips. "I don't like that face", Diego said while suspiciously eating his fruit loops. You reassured them all that it wouldn't be that bad.

When you were all finished Pucci and Kira actually helped you to clean the kitchen so you were finished pretty fast. The others were in the living room and tidied up their beds, so it didn't look like they had one of the biggest parties of history in your living room.

Finally everything was done and even Valentine was up again. He looked much better than before, but you couldn't let him sleep on the kitchen table again. Maybe you should stop by your local store and buy another air mattress.

Anyways you were all ready to go and told your group of visitors to follow you. There was no way they would all fit into a car so you decided to take the bus and walk the rest. Luckily the shopping centre you were heading to wasn't that far away. Dio put on a summer hat because he said he was sensitive to the sun. The rest of the group just left on their normal attire and walked behind you.

However as soon as you started to get into a more crowded area it was hard not to notice the weird glances you recieved by some people. Doppio walked closer to you and hugged your arm. "I don't feel comfortable when they are looking at me like that" he claimed. You rested your arm on top of his shoulder and caressed it in a comforting way. "Don't worry just let them be" you told him.

And honestly you couldn't blame those people. How would you look if there were two very buff men, a jockey, the president of the United States, a boy in a pink sweater and a normal guy with a lilac suit. Not to mention Dio's outfit and those shoes. What was actually pretty suprising was how many people tried to flirt with him. It got so worse to the point you just had Kars to carry him along.

After a while you arrived at the bus station. Doppio still clung to your arm like there's no tomorrow, however when the bus arrived you had to pull him off for a moment. The door opened and you paid for everyone before you told them to get on. Kira was the first one to walk in and simply sat on one of the free seats, not sparing anyone a glance. The others soon followed except one, who was hesitant to follow and that was when it dawned to you. Does Kars even know what a bus is?

You looked over your shoulder and made made a motion with your hand to encourage him to follow you. Just as he was about to follow the bus driver interrupted. "Are you coming in? I don't have all day so hurry up before I go." he said and started closing the doors. You tried to stop him, but to your shock heard a metallic noise from your side. Then Kars walked past you as if it was nothing to just break open the door, leaving both you and the bus driver speechless.

To avoid the awkwardness you smiled and went to the back to sit with the others. Kars sat at the window and stared at the world outside in awe, while Kira read another newspaper. You didn't even question where that was from. A bit later you heard that you got to take the next stop and pressed one of those buttons. Dio did the same and Diego soon followed.

"Guys, one is enough" you said, but it was too late and Diego started pressing all the buttons in reach. You tried to reach his arm to stop him, but Pucci was faster and started lecturing him. However Diego was having none of that and jumped up from his seat and started to yell. To your luck the bus stopped and caused Diego to fall, earning a laugh from your group.

The rest of the walk over to the shopping center went by smoothly with no complications. You then passed the doors and walked inside the huge center. "Oh my that is quite impressive" said Dio. The others just nodded their head in agreement some more interested than others. You spotted the shop you were looking for and started walking, making sure everyone was still there. Stepping inside you waited at the front till everyone stood next to you.

Some of them actually seemed amazed by the great variety of clothes the shop offered. "Alright, let's meet on this exact same spot in one hour again" you ordered while pointing down at your feet. "Yeah sure." mumbled Diego who was already looking at the sunglasses.

"And please don't buy that much. Let's just say everyone picks 3 outfits." you decided. You showed them where they would find something fitting and with that being done you all split up. You yourself went looking for something new. I mean when you are already here you can at least look around a bit.

You held two shirts in your hand, but couldn't quite decide which one was better. Lost in thought you didn't hear someone approaching you and just kept staring at the two shirts, trying to figure out which one is better.

"I think this one would look excellent on you." said a voice directly next to your ear and a finger pointing over your shoulder to the left shirt. The one who startled you was none other than Valentine. He towered above you and was looking over your shoulder.

Turning your head around you couldn't help but blush a bit due to his closeness. And of course he noticed that and smiled at you before he straightened his back again. He pointed over to the direction the others were supposed to be.

"I think they are done by now." he said and walked there. Checking the time you noticed that one hour was almost over and quickly caught up to Valentine. Reaching the point you met everyone with their choice of clothes.

Kira bought some suits in black and white, Dio a black sleeveless top similar to the black one he already has and some simple black shirts. Doppio had bought some more sweaters in purple and pink and also a black shirt that looked way to serious for him and was a bit over his size. At least you guessed it was. Diego got a turqoise flanell shirts. Kars simply got another black shirt, just like the one you gave him. Pucci got some simple stuff as well and got the same black shirts as Dio did. Valentine was a bit more colourful and got something with with pink samples on it and one shirt that was covered with the flag of the United States.

You asked them for their size of pants and got some blue and black ones as well. Now you finally got enough for everyone and went to pay. Dio went to the counter with you since he claimed he was interested in how that works. The woman there seemed rather interested in Dio than the clothes you wanted to buy.

"You know that is really a lot money, but I couldn't sleep tonight, if I know that such a handsome guy would pay that." she said while leaning over the counter, ignoring you completely. So you just let Dio do the talking because he played along and flirted back. In the end you only had to pay half of the price and got the girls number.

Outside were the others and waited for you to come back. "You couldn't do that any faster, could you?" asked Diego who seemed pretty bored.

"Nope" you said while popping the 'p' in it. It was now around 4pm so you first decided to bring all the clothes back home. Thankfully the ride on the bus went good, except Diego pressing the stop-button non-stop. Everyone carried their bags with clothes andit took you no time to arrive in your apartment.

Tiredly you threw all clothes into the laundry room to wash them once before you all could wear them. Doppio went into your room to take a nap and you prepared some snacks for you and the others. While doing so you noticed you needed to do some grocery shopping and decided to do so after a small break. Everyone else was in the living room and you made yourself comfortable on the couch with them and turned on the TV.

Diego was already sleeping on Kira's lap and Pucci was chatting with Valentine. Kars watched the TV with interest while Dio was looking through some of your books.

You weren't even watching the TV and everyone else seemed tired too. So you planned what you needed to buy later. And will you take someone with you?
