Christmas Special

It's christmas time! On the one side was this time amazing, but on the other it can be really stressful because there is a lot to organize. You and your roommates wanted to celebrate christmas together so you all set up a plan to be ready as fast as possible. Everyone was assigned to do some part of it so that no one would do more than the others.

So that's how you found yourself going to the grocery store with Dio. It was around 2pm now, so it was enough time to get everything, but you weren't so sure if the others would be done in time. You had prepared a small shopping list with all the stuff you had to get since there was still some food and snacks that you wanted for the evening, as well as a few drinks.

As the two of you walked through the streets you could hear christmas songs playing in every store you passed, as well as everything was decorated. Everything was just glowing. "Alright we will go to this store." you said while pointing in that direction and headed towards it. Dio was looking through the list you made and was trying to figure out where he would find all the stuff on it in the store.

You quickly grabbed a shopping cart and first went to get the drinks. You let Dio chose some wine because it was requested by some of your roommates, and you thought that he would know more about the different types than you. You went to get some soft drinks, mostly for Doppio and Diego. It's not that they couldn't drink it you just knew that it would get even more chaotic if those two got drunk. After a while you met again at the shopping cart you left in a random aisle and walked over to the snacks.

"So Doppio wanted some gummy bears and Diego some crisps. Kira ordered some dark chocolate for himself and Kars wanted animal crackers." you read out loud from your list, while grabbing some bags with the candy from the shelf. "Is there anything you would like?" you asked as you turned around to face Dio. He was looking through the shelves as if he was searching for something, his eyes not looking at you.

"Of course, how about we get some bloo-" before he could finish his sentence you interrupted him. "Great, looks like we got everything from here. Let's go get the food for this evening." you said while walking out of the section. Grumbling Dio followed you once again, flirting every then and there with other costumers. You always had to remind him why you were at the grocery store, to get the things for this evening and not the numbers of numerous people. Honestly, if you knew it beforehand you could've just gone alone.

However you couldn't let him to go by all himself because he most likely wouldn't get anything from the list. Even if it was annoying, Dio can be helpful sometimes. For example when you can't reach something on the higher shelves or when there is only one product left and you want it. Whenever that is the case he either flirts so hard that the other person gives it to him voluntary or he just scares them away.

After a while you had everything from the list and headed back home. Before you got on the bus you just had to stop at one of the booths to get some hot drinks, there was just nothing better than that. The both of you just sat down on a nearby bench to enjoy the christmas atmosphere. Sipping carefully on your drink you leaned your head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around you. It was actually quite comfortable, but you knew you had to get going, the others must be waiting.

Meanwhile at your apartment...

"I think that red would look better than yellow." exclaimed Diego as he rubbed his chin and thoughtfully stared at the christmas balls on the table. Doppio and him were assigned to decorate the house a bit and were now arguing which colour looked better. "Really? I thought that the yellow ones would look prettier." said Doppio a bit sad that Diego didn't like his idea.

"When will this tree even arrive? By the looks of it we won't have a tree before next week." he complained as he dramatically plopped down on the couch. Kars was sent out to get a tree for this evening, but he hasn't come back yet and he was almost gone for three hours now.
