My alarm clock went off, after a 5-minute snooze and a few yawns and stretches I clambered out of bed and dived into the shower.

I stumbled out of the shower, trying my best to retain balance. Heck I felt more dirty after shower than before because of the condition of water!

I rushed down the stairs of my building, tossing on my mask. I cycled to my University, which was a couple dozen blocks further. Ignoring the fact that my lungs burned from the fumes of the cars, I sped up and was at the University in a couple of minutes.

Energised with the coffee and cereal, I popped into the library to print off my lecture notes from my blackboard. Whilst the lecture slides are printing, I scanned through the notes so that I knew what to expect in my lecture. I leaned on the wall and took a deep breath.

Sometimes it feels as though you're doing the same thing each week, day in and day out. Something I have come to realize is that although it may feel this way, a few months ago, I was stuffing my face with Christmas goodies and in a few days I shall be stuffing my face with yet more chocolate come Easter.

It is unlikely for one to say that being a student is easy; what with bills, studying, missing home and ultimately never wanting to become an adult.

The hardest part about lectures this semester is concentrating, all my lectures had been compiled into three two hour lectures which, on the other hand is great considering it frees up an entire day. On a whole I don't mind this as the lecturers are nice and let us have a 10 minute break which eliminates the struggle of listening for two hours straight.

I bumped into my friend outside the library. I accompanied her to our lecture

On the lecture notes I had printed out earlier, I scribbled down important points that the professor made. Because I has these notes already, I didn't have to waste a lot of time copying down the graphs and text, so I could actually listen.

After a short break, I rushed to the seminar and then dashed off to the library, I had an essay due in 2 days for my module choice in advertising and economics. I hope to come to the social later so will try to finish my essay off this afternoon.
