I tried to open my eyes as I felt a searing pain in my skull. I tried to grab on to something but I felt as my whole body was paralyzed.

I figured out that I was lying down on my stomach. I felt something cold and moist, yet soft against my skin. Unlike anything that my skin had touched ever before.

Figuring that I was likely in a state of sleep paralysis and somehow wasn't able to open my eyes, I used my tactic which almost always worked. I tried making small moves in my fingers and toes. As someone who almost regularly had sleep paralysis, I did have a couple of tricks up my sleeve, if I do say so myself.

I took a deep breath when I realized the air I was breathing in was...different? And maybe fresher? Was I breathing from an oxygen tank?

"Kanha, something doesn't feel right." Balram spoke.

A young man was lying on the settee nearby. His body glistened with the black mascara of the sweetness of His nectarine handsomeness. He, with blooming eyes like lotus petals with head decked with peacock's feather, with the figure of beauty tinged with the hue of blue clouds. The goddess of fortune sat proudly on his chest in the form of a beautiful neck piece.

He opened his lotus petal eyes and sat up in minor alarm. He looked at his elder brother as he sat down next to him.

"Kanha..." Balram started. "As the bearer of time, there have been disturbances in time. Or should I say will be? Doesn't matter anyway, since we both are above time. But Kanha, this time it is more severe."

Krishna was listening intently, his elbow resting on his thigh and face on his palm. "Severe as in?" He said with a glint of mischief in his honey voice, which went unnoticed by his brother.

"Kanha, this time it is stronger. I fear the ripple in time may affect the happenings of Dwapara. Kanha, we cannot risk it. Centuries of incidents took place for the proceedings now on. We can't let anything, or for that fact anyone, interfere."
