My eyes were fixed on the computer screen, as I researched about the one electron theory. Yeah I know I said that I hate Science but this new project forced me to do so.
As Wikipedia said,
"The one-electron universe postulate, proposed by John Wheeler in a telephone call to Richard Feynman in the spring of 1940, is the hypothesis that all electrons and positrons are actually manifestations of a single entity moving backwards and forwards in time."
Argh! No one talks English anymore it seems!
I went on finding more about the theory but nothing actually went inside my brain. Constant exposure to the screen strained my eyes, and this freaking theory strained my mind.
I shut my eyes for a mere second, and increased the volume of my television.
"Most parts of the southern Asia are under water. Some major earthquakes were recorded in various parts of Europe and Russia. More than 1000 people have died today due to starvation in North Africa."
I flipped through various channels, in search of finding something good to watch. Nowadays channels were filled with these discussions on 'Time travel'. I stopped on one such channel.
"Time travelling isn't effecting us in any ways, it's just saving the evolved civilization. We could go in the past and could help them to be like us." A 'learned scholar' spoke.
"So that this destruction could come earlier. Look Mr. John, if we still don't stop butchering nature we'll be finished." other countered.
"We are on the verge of that Mr.Dustin. Destruction is inevitable. So best way to escape is running away."
"As you said, destruction is inevitable. So why run away?" A girl from the gathering shouted.
"Time travelling doesn't ensure that we will not die, death too is inevitable. So better to face it now and here. For your kind information, the earth's rotation is becoming slower day by day. Mercury has already submerged with the sun as the sun is reaching the end of it's natural lifecycle. Thanks to your time travelling even the Time zones are disturbed. What you call them, those portals, they are now every... "
I switched off the TV. "Tell me something I don't know..." I mumbled and got back on my work.
After few hours, a message flashed on my phone. It was Nicole!
