Diana gave Charles the consent for the interview to proceed, provided that it will not take long and for the questions to be limited for she's still recovering from her injuries.

The interviewer asked about the accident and Diana briefly talked about it for she's yet to give her statement to the police. The interviewer also asked about how she's feeling from the accident in which she first thanked the people who prayed for her recovery before answering about how she feels. Lastly the interviewer asked about their relationship.

"For now our priority is the full recovery of Diana. I am hopefull that once she's fully recovered, she will walk down the aisle and marry me again. But before I get ahead of myself, I will have to ask for her hand properly first this time." Charles aswered in which Diana only smiled and held his hand.

Diana asked for her head of security to retreive her items from the Ritz hotel, she offered her condolences and returned the gifts she received from Dodi when Dodi's brother visited her at the hospital. She also gave her personal condolences to the family of the driver of the vehicle who died from the accident.

After Diana gave her official statement to the police about the accident and when she's well enough to seat and eat on her own, Dr. Piers cleared her to go back to England.

Charles and Diana personally thanked the doctors who took care of Diana, the hospital director, the medical staff, security staff and every worker in the hospital. As a sign of appreciation for taking care of Diana, Charles pledged to donate a hospital building that will specifically take care of emergency and trauma patients.

The travel back to England went smoothly. William and Harry are already at the airport waiting to welcome back their parents joined by the thousands of people and press who are also waiting for Charles and Diana's return.

Charles personally pushed Diana's wheel chair towards William and Harry who run towards their parents and embraced them.

After waving to the press and people at the airport they travelled together back to Highgrove.

Diana was surprised when they went to Highgrove and not Kensington where she lives since her divorce.

"Highgrove? I thought you will drop me off at Kensington palace?" Diana asked Charles when they arrived at his estate in Highgrove.

"The fresh air and seclusion here in Highgrove will help you in your recovery, we will return to Kensington palace once you are fully recovered." Charles explained.

"We? I appreciate everything Charles but-"

"I meant what I said when I told the world that I will ask for your hand again. I will win back your heart Diana, I mean it."

"Dad's right mum, we will be a family again." Harry said happily as he walked with his parents.

"Come on, Harry we should go ahead." William called his younger brother and went ahead inside the estate.

"Welcome back Diana!" The royal family, Diana's family and her friends greeted when they reached inside.

Diana was speechless with the surprise that waited her in the estate.

Sarah whispered in Diana's ear, "You have Prince Charles to thank for with this surprise. He asked his secretary to gather everyone close to your heart to welcome your return."

Diana looked at Charles who is talking with his brothers drinking a glass of wine with them.

Charles usually spends more time at home watching over Diana's rehabilitation. He's lucky to have supportive brothers who took on his public appearances that will take him away form home. He only takes work that can be done at home he only leaves if the queen calls his presence and some public appearances that needed him personally, but he makes sure to return home at night.

Everytime he returns home, he always brings Diana's favorite flowers and spends the night talking to her. During weekends when both William and Harry have no school they bond together as family, enjoying the privacy and quiet time they have.

One day while watching over Diana's rehabilitation at home he drew something in his journal that he will have it made as a surprise to her soon.

"How's her progress?" Charles asked the physical therapist helping Diana to walk on her own again.

"She's doing well your highness, she can now walk with the aid of crutches and will not need a wheel chair anymore."

"That's good news, she will walk on her own soon right?" Charles asked happily.

"Yes."

The following day, Charles arranged for a meeting with England's best sculptor in Kensington palace.

"This is my design I want it done on top of the garden's fountain." Charles said and handed over his sketch.

"This is Diana the goddess of hunting your royal highness." The sculptor said when he saw the sketch, amazed at the intricate detail the prince drew.

"Yes, that is my wife's namesake. I want it done in her honor here at our residence."

"Consider it done your royal highness." The sculptor said and shook hands with Charles.

Diana's progress got better thanks to her physical therapist and her family's support that she can now walk with a cane and will walk soon on her own once her legs returns to 100 percent.

Charles got a schedule planned for their family to attend to a polo match where he and William will play that will also be Diana's first public appearance since returning home. Diana agreed wanting to cheer both Charles and William.

The father and son duo on the field proved to be tough on their opponents as they won the match and Diana presented their prizes for winning. When Diana gave Charles his prize, he can't stop himself from kissing her publicly for the first time since their divorce that the crowd and press enjoyed.
