A Love That Should Be

Honeymoon

"Finally all to myself at last." Charles said happily while carrying Diana bridal style and carefully placing her on top of their bed.

"We'll have all the time to ourselves for a month on our honeymoon Charles." Diana said and kissed him lightly on the lips teasing him.

"It's been years since we shared a bed Diana, you can't blame me for wanting to make love to you every moment we can." Charles said honestly and carefully removed his suit jacket.

"What if we conceive or not conceive a child anymore?" Diana asked while helping Charles remove his tie.

"Child or no child it doesn't matter. You have already given me William and Harry and I am proud of our boys, they are more than enough for me." Charles answered honestly and started to kiss his wife passionately while removing her dress.

Not long after their clothes are discarded on the floor. The kiss became heated between Charles and Diana, their passion and love for each other pouring into every kiss and touch they gave to each other.

The newlyweds spend the whole night making love again and again in every corner of their master bedroom in Kensington Palace until both are exhausted. Even Charles was surprised that he still have the stamina to last long and make love to his wife repeatedly despite his age.

"Love didn't I tire you last night?" Charles said with a smile when he woke up to Diana kissing his face.

"You did, I am just waking you up." Diana answered and reached for her dressing robe and handed over to Charles his dressing robe.

"Wake up? Can't we just stay here in our bed next to each other and make love whole day?" He yawned and returned lying flat on the bed.

"Really Charles?" Diana laughed and pulled him up. "We have to eat also you know, how about we have our breakfast first and resume this after."

"Gladly."

Before Charles and Diana left in the royal yacht to spend their second honeymoon cruising in the Carribbean Islands, they went to Wales to spend a week there where the Welsh people welcomed their princess back. Diana greeted them in the native tongue of Wales and appreciated them welcoming her back as their princess and wife of Charles.

Despite enjoying their honeymoon making love everytime during their cruise in the Carribbean Islands they missed their children who are left in London studying at their respective schools. They called William and Harry everyday to talk about how their day in school went and how they wanted their children to be with them in their cruise and enjoy the islands with them.

When they were done with their honeymoon and returned to England, Charles discussed with Diana what their public engagements will be as husband and wife again along with their respective secretaries.

"Where would you like us to go? We can tour the commonwealth if you want." Charles said to his wife.

"I was thinking of going to Paris in Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital where I was taken during my accident."

Charles thought about it, "Yes, I did promise to donate a hospital building as a sign of my appreciation for them when they saved you. We can go there and maybe visit hospitals and hospice care centers here in England to visit patients and give our donations to them first before we leave for Paris."

Diana stared at her husband amazed at what he just said. Charles cared for his people but he's not as hands on as her when it comes to showing it. Now he's the one suggesting to her that they visit those who need their much needed help and attention.

"Yes that's an excellent idea. We can organize a polo match where you and William will play, you can also invite your brothers and friends to play with. With you lot playing, I'm sure we will have no problem raising funds for our donations." Diana added proud of what her husband suggested.

"What do you think?" Charles looked at the direction of his secretary.

"It is doable your royal highnesses."

"Great, set our schedules as soon as possible. I have to leave now I am picking William and Harry from their schools.." Charles announced and kissed Diana before leaving.

The polo match organized by the royal couple gathered a massive crowd that exceeded their target number of ticket sales.

The match between team Charles and team Andrew was so intense that both teams were just exchanging leads. The final score was decided with a great defense by Charles who managed to block Andrew's drive and passed the ball to William who scored the winning score.

"There you have it a game for the ages! What a father and son team play by team Charles to defeat the aggressive play strategy of team Andrew." The announcer of the polo match said in enthusiasm of a great game showed by both teams.

The spectators roared and clapped with the victory of team Charles. Despite the loud noise made by the crowd, Charles can only hear the claps and cheers of Diana and Harry for him and William.

"I am proud of you William, you won for our team and especially for you mother and brother." Charles placed a hand on William's shoulder as they ride around the polo field to wave to the people cheering.

"Thank you father, if it wasn't for your defense I would have not scored the winning score." William said to his father.

Before giving prizes and trophies for the winners and tokens for the opposing team as gratitude of participating in the polo match, Diana said a few words.

"First of all I would like to congratulate team Charles for their victory today, I would also like to thank team Andrew for a fair and competitive match against my husband's team. Before I hand out the prizes and trophies for the winning team, I would like to thank everyone in here who made this event successful. A lot of hospitals and hospice care patients will benefit with the tickets we sold today and from your donations."
