Lo and behold, it showed: Sakura Haruno vs Mayne Barnes. Interesting. Time to put all those training to good use. I walked calmly to the arena where Mayne was waiting for me. Mayne barely waited for the teacher to signal for us to begin before she disappeared. The class changed into a whole other world and I wasn't sure of where she was.
Clutching the kunai tightly in my palms, I looked both ways walking slowly in the forest. Out of know where a huge fireball came at me. Thankfully I was able to dodge it but I got injured in the process. The slight wounds sealed tight and I was back to new. I threw a kunai at the position where the fireball came from and that forced a living organism to come out of hiding.
To my utter disappointment and annoyance, it was only Axel. I would have loved it if it was Mayne but Axel was also a good opponent and the fact that I attacked it would make it want to injure me more. Axel charged at me, fire coming from it paws. I ran, not knowing what else to do.
I looked at the weapons in my pouch and nodded. Let's dance, Axel. I performed many shadow clones and spread them across the axis of the forest. Some would help me look for Mayne and locate Axel. I was killing two birds with one stone. While the real me would hide in the forest, carrying out the next step of my plan.
It worked. My shadow clones were able to lure Axel to the trap I set for it. I at once immediately created more shadow clones to fight him. While he was distracted, I hit him in the nape of his neck rendering him unconscious. My shadow clones carried him out in the open using him as bait for Mayne.
Mayne was a genius and would never fall for it. She would have figured out it was a trap and wouldn't come but then again it was Axel, her favourite pet. She was definitely going to come. The whole place was surrounded by my shadow clones, she was trapped.
As expected, Mayne arrived. She arrived alone hands in the air calling out my name. "Okay Sakura, I give up!" She yelled but I wasn't fooled. She was just like me, we never gave up easily. She was pulling some trick and I was right.
Her lips pulled up in a smirk and she cackled. "Fine, I know you don't believe me any how." Suddenly a whole bunch of Mayne shadow clones appeared and they began fighting mine. They both cancelled each other out and both of them were gone.
I jumped impressively to Mayne's front and my lips pulled into an easy grin. "Let's end this!" I yelled, adrenaline kicking into my body as I pulled out my weapon of choice; kunai. They were rather small and perfect for what I was going for. Mayne obviously agreed and drawed her katana out of its sheath.
We both charged at each other at the same time. Our weapons rebounded with a large clink as it was agreed it was time to end this. Mayne weaved the signs for katon. But before she could bring on the fireball, I had already punctured the ground and she fell beneath the ground. I landed on her to get a few punches in but she grabbed my leg and pulled me to the ground.
Our fight went on for about 10 minutes, Mayne and I extremely exhausted. Though I self healed, I could still feel exhaustion and with the way things were going, I was going to collapse any minute and the same could be said for Mayne. Panting, she drew her katana drawing all the strength she could muster and charged at me.
Exhausted from all the fighting, I stood in a defensive position and got ready for the attack. It was a quick ending. Due to exhaustion from both parties, we fell flat on the ground. Our sensei appeared between us and called it a tie. We both levelled up and were sent to our sits as the next batch began. Mayne got up and stretched her sweaty palm towards me with a smile. I grabbed it and she pulled me up.
We shook in good sportsmanship and went to our sits. "That was a great fight. You really improved, Sakura," Mayne said as she loosed the knots in her hair. She roughly pulled out the knots not caring if her hair cut in the process.
"Yeah, thanks. You also improved too. I really didn't expect that trick," I said half honest. Mayne and I continued conversing both of us oblivious to the fight going on in the class.
Unfortunately the bell rang and the class came to a quick dismiss. Mayne said her goodbye and went to her next class. I waved back and made my way to my next class.

Hinata
I was usually a good student. I usually focused with rapt attention but such wasn't the case today. I tried as much as I could to listen to what was being taught in the class but I couldn't say a single word about the topic being taught. All I could think of was my long lost brother and new friend.
I really couldn't believe my brother was alive though he had been here for 2 days now. It was so crazy although nice to know I had a family member who was still alive. I loved my friends but talking about my family to my friends was a really hard thing for me to do. It really helped to know I wasn't the only one with a past like that.
I felt a paper ball being thrown at the back of my head and I looked behind to see who the culprit was. To my utter surprise, it was one of Neji-san's friend, the blonde one. I presumed his name was Naruto. He smiled at me with a goofy grin and passed me a note.
I didn't know what happened to me but I froze and blushed at his goofy grin. It took me a while to process what was happening to me and to collect the note. I had no idea what happened but I read the note.
"The teacher was looking at you and I thought you'll be punished." The note read in his messy scrawl. My body instantly turned red as I re read the note. That was so sweet of him. He was so nice! How the heck did Neji meet him? I thought of what to write but I wasn't sure I was going to be bold enough to give him the letter. I tucked the letter in my short pocket and tried to listen to the teacher.
Thankfully our break time of 30 minutes finally arrived and I was free to leave the class. Unfortunately as I was packing up to meet the girls, Naruto appeared in my seat.
"Hey Hinata, I was wondering if you wanted to spend the break with the boys and I," Naruto said, rubbing the back of his head.
Hinata opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. She forced herself to speak and when she did, she was shocked. "O-of c-c-ourse N-narto-k-kun," she replied with a stutter. Hinata immediately covered her mouth, shocked. She had not stuttered in a long while. The girls needed to hear about it. Hinata was clearly panicking but as usual Naruto was oblivious to everything.
"Great, let's go!" Naruto dragged her hand and pulled her across the school building to the cafeteria where the boys were. Hinata blushed at Naruto's hand entangled in hers and felt like she was on cloud nine.
A/N: Hey y'all, real sorry for not updating. School and life got the best of me. Any way after the long wait, here's chapter 7.
