Tenten
I munched quietly on my loaf of bread as the girls slowly arrived at our special table. Temari was the second to arrive after me and as usual her ear plugs were on and she had a huge scowl on her face. She muttered a barely audible greeting to me and almost immediately returned to ignoring the rest of the world. Honestly, Temari always looked tough and the fact she was a master fighter didn't make her case any better.
When we first met, I was honestly afraid of her. She had beaten me in a fight and walked away without a word. We were later placed in the same bedroom and I met the others. Communicating with the others, especially Ino and Sakura was very easy but I had a little problem with Temari. It took all of us a while but it was worth it in the end. Temari was very loyal to all of us. She was like the big sister we could count on to defend us.
Ino and Sakura surprisingly arrived at the same time. The two best friends were laughing and smiling as they walked towards the table. The two had always been closer to each other than they had been with Temari, Hinata and I.
"Mayne is a real tough opponent, quite enduring." Sakura said and hung her bag on her chair. "Oh hey Tenten," Sakura greeted, finally seeming to notice me. I had finished my bread and kept my plate aside.
With a huge smile on my face I replied. "Sakura, Ino." I acknowledged, "still talking about the fight with Mayne?"
"Yeah. Ino asked about it. Her informant couldn't get information on that particular detail." Sakura answered and Ino rolled her eyes.
"It isn't my fault the informant was incompetent today!" Ino pouted and Sakura and I burst into a fit of giggles at Ino's expense.
"If you have an incompetent informant, then how can you be the Queen bee of the school?" I teased, laughing. Ino turned red and continued to pout, taking offense. Sakura pulled her sleeveless top to conceal her laughing face.
I looked at Ino who was pouting like a kid and let out a quiet chuckle. She was so Ino. "I was just teasing, Ino."
"Hmph!" Ino exclaimed. Sakura and I simply ignored her and continued conversing. A few minutes later, I noticed Hinata was no where to be found. My gaze searched round for Hinata but still no sign.
Worried, I tried to pick up her scent but for some reason I couldn't. I turned to Sakura who was doing the same thing I was doing minutes before. We shared a look of concern. Ino looked at us in confusion.
"What's wrong? Why the worried faces?" I almost face palmed at the question. How could she not notice Hinata was missing?
Before I could reply with a sarcastic retort, Sakura beat me to it. "Genius, Hinata's missing, did you not notice that!"
"Seesh Sakura! Calm your self. Hinata can defend herself, she has the byakugan anyway." Ino waved away Sakura's concern but was hit with a sharp cherry blossom which created an opening on her skin.
"Don't you know they can still detain Hinata?! Special humans are weak in the leg and Hinata hasn't fully mastered the byakugan!" Sakura's voice rose in anger. As she was talking, cherry blossom petals surrounded her and I was sure she was going to so something to Ino, so I made a move.
I quickly made the calculations in my head and threw kunais that knock all the the petals to the ground. Ino looked at Sakura in boredom and not surprise. This wasn't the first time this was happening, it wasn't even the second, neither was it going to be the last. Sakura had a really bad temper.
Ino shook her head and weaved some strange hand signs. I knew what she did. She used her special power, mind transferring. It won't work. It is a known fact that for some reason, mind transferring doesn't work on Sakura. Ino had been trying to enter her mind for years but always got kicked out. It was always amusing to watch.
Sakura's body kept perfectly still and Ino's fell unconscious. For a few minutes, the body remained still and I thought Ino had finally learnt how to control Sakura's mind. How wrong was I.
In a few seconds, Sakura started twitching and yelling out a few words. Before I knew what was happening, Ino's body twitched to consciousness. Sakura's usually jade eyes were turning red and I knew she was very angry.
"Never try that again!" Sakura yelled in anger. Ino stood up to her feet very exhausted and also angry at Sakura. She got into an offensive stance and I knew she was going to attack Sakura.
Exhausted and fed up of the two of them, Temari unplugged her earplugs and got up. This almost never happened, so I backed up a little. She brought out her fan and blew a mighty wind at the two. She didn't wait for the two to recover and blew other mighty winds at them.
Everyone else in the cafeteria was affected and the whole cafeteria was messed up. Food was everywhere and the furniture was scattered, it was a big mess. We were all going to be in trouble.
Finally Temari stopped and expertly kept her fan in her pocket. She glared at the girls and the mess she had caused and went back to ignoring the world. I shook my head at Temari's behaviour. Luckily Sakura and Ino were brought back to their senses and the two started apologizing.
"Ino, I'm really sorry. I just got worked up over the fact I couldn't pick up the scent of Hinata and took it out on you."
Ino nodded and brushed her hair. "Guess I should have been more concerned about the fact Hinata was missing. I just thought she was getting better at defending her self."
"Yeah. She is, but we still have to be worried for her safety. Hinata is really nice and might not feel the need to fight at times." Sakura commented and before Ino could reply, I butt in.
"Yay! I'm so glad we're all friends," I said sarcastically, "but in case you guys haven't noticed, Hinata's missing and the cafeteria's trashed!"
"Oh yeah, right!" Sakura guilty rubbed her hair as she gazed at the dirty students, floors and scattered furniture.
"We're going to be so dead if Principal Tsuande ever finds out-"
"Too late!!!" The Principal's sharp voice interrupted Ino's as she walked towards the culprit which was us. She glared hardly at the four of us, her eyes questioning and scary. "What happened here!!"
The four kept quiet as the Principal demanded to know what happened. When no one spoke, she got angry and broke our special table into half. Her fist was clenched, when she pointed directly to Sakura and demanded to know exactly what happened.
Sakura gulped and told her everything that happened. Principal Tsunade's anger flared up and she broke our seat into half. She was about to cause more damage when Vice Principal Shizune whispered into her ear and she calmed her self.
"For the damage you caused. You girls are in so much trouble. You are to clean up the cafeteria, you have detention for a month and are also to clean all the bathrooms and rooms in KHGS and as for Hinata, I will an ANBU squad to search the whole school for her. Get to work!!" Principal Tsunade barked at us, ordering us to get to work.
I sighed as she walked walked away, Vice Principal Shizune following right behind. Angry teens glared at us and snickered as they walked out of the cafeteria, probably to clean up. I was sure what happened was going to spread like wildfire. I looked at my friends who were also dirty.
Sakura started to laugh out of the blue and Ino joined. For some reason, I also did and we were laughing our butts off. Sakura handed us brooms and mops as Ino put on music. We began cleaning. It was going to be a long night.
