Tenten

It was a really busy week for the girls and I. Dealing with school work, detention and every thing in between, the girls and I were extremely drained. Sakura, Ino and I bounced on the bed completely exhausted. Temari who was rarely without her earplugs laid on her bed, a tired expression pasted on her face. The only exception was Hinata. Her punishment was less taxing than ours but Hinata was happier these days and was always happily scribbling away in her diary. Almost immediately, Sakura lost the suspicious expression and walked towards Hinata. This weird movement gained the attention of the girls and I as we watched Sakura closely. She strutted around Hinata's bunk bed for a while as she poked the wood.

She stuck out her head in between Hinata and her journal, startling the poor girl. She was so surprised to the extent that she fell off her lower bunk and landed roughly unto the hard wooden floor. Hinata clutched her journal close to her chest still in shock.

"Hey Hinata!" Sakura greeted with a deceptive cheerful smile. Her ears and tail perked up as she waved her hand. She lent out a hand to Hinata who laid on the wooden floor wandering what was happening. Hinata looked dazed but accepted Sakura's hand anyway.

"What's that!" Sakura continued in deceptive cheerfulness. She pointed to the diary clutched in Hinata's porcelain hands. Hinata looked at Sakura then her book and blushed deep scarlet red.

"Oh, it's nothing!" Hinata said unconvincingly at all. She tried to hide her deep red face from Sakura but was failing miserably. Sakura, who seemed exhausted minutes before strangely gained new energy from torturing Hinata.

"If that's so," Sakura began, circling Hinata. "Why were you happily writing in you diary just minutes ago?" The question completely threw Hinata off balance as she struggled for an answer. Ino noticed Hinata's distress and came to her rescue.

Or rather, her doom.

Ino pushed her body off the bunk bed and strutted towards Hinata and Sakura. She dragged Sakura's hand leading her away from Hinata. Sakura roughly released her hand from Ino's hold and looked at her with fury in her eyes. I shifted slightly, aware of the location of my weapons bracing up to break up a fight but surprisingly nothing happened.

"Sakura, you've got to chill, you're scaring Hinata," Ino spoke, filing her nails. "Besides if Hinata's this secretive about it, it's clearly about a boy." Hinata's shocked and embarrassed expression confirmed Ino's statements. Ino giggled cheerily as she threw a smug look over her back at Hinata. "Am I right, Hinata?"

Hinata shook her head but her face just grew a deeper shade of red. "Yeah, Ino's right!" I yelled and Sakura joined. Hinata backed up and hit the wall. I joined the two and the three of us looked down at Hinata. Finally resorting to say the truth, Hinata nodded.

"So who is it?! What's his name?! How does he look like?!" Ino and Sakura bombarded Hinata with questions extremely happy. I nodded just as excited. This was very rare for Hinata.

Ino fell for a lot boys numerous times and Sakura had gone on a few dates. So had I but Temari and Hinata rarely went on dates. So this was huge. Ino and Sakura were as usual carried away in their excitedness that they didn't notice Hinata was getting uncomfortable.

Temari, annoyed with the squeals of excitedly brought out her expertly folded fan. I gulped, and ducked for cover. Temari blew strong winds at them and this created chaos in the room. I sighed. This was the cafeteria incident all over again.

Ino and Sakura who had been knocked off balance were seriously irked at Temari. I sighed once more. Another fight was going to break out and I didn't have the strength or the willpower to deal with two demi humans and a special human.

I groaned in annoyance pushing past Sakura and Ino to Hinata. They both let out cries of complain but one look from me and they both kept quiet. I smiled internally. I couldn't believe that actually worked!!

I breathed in deeply before speaking. "Look, Hinata, though Ino and Sakura are a bit..." I paused for a moment, trying to find the perfect adjective to describe them. "Excited, but all they really want is the best for you. I mean we don't want happened to Sayita to happen to you." Hinata nodded and I continued.

"And to look after you, we would like to know who this boy is."

Hinata looked at me, then the others and took a deep breath.

"His name is Naruto." She breathed out.

"Wait a minute, I've heard that name before." Ino spoke and brought out her phone.

"He's a friend of Ni-san."

"No. That's not where I've seen the name." Ino paused for a second and snapped her fingers in realization.

"That's it!" Ino squealed. "I knew I saw his face somewhere."

"Ino, what's going on?" Sakura asked.

"Hinata's brother and his group of friends are members of a popular band, Konoha 5."

"Konoha 5?" Sakura and I screamed in unison.

"Yeah!"

"But we love their music. How did we not know that they were the one?" Sakura asked.

"I don't know but I think it's because we rarely have time to do so." I replied.

"Probably," Sakura agreed.

"This changes everything." Ino announced and began rubbing her fingers. She was obviously planning something. How I pitied Hinata.
