***I JUST WANT TO SAY HOW GRATEFUL I AM FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE READING MY STORY!!! YOU GUYS ARE THE TRUE MVP'S!! :)THANK YOU!!!****

Lily's POV

I woke up the next morning thinking about my date with Chris that night. I wasn't really excited because he really was one of the most dirty minded boys in my school, and I had heard many of the stories that Locke warned me about and they were really bad. But maybe they were all rumors. Hopefully they were.

After completing all the chores on my chore list for the day I sat down to watch a movie with Lando. It was a stupid movie about a monkey and his talking best friend a banana. I had to laugh because the movie was about the monkey's struggles to not eat his best friend, and the writers related it to our friendships and how we should be careful to chose friends who will not struggle to hurt us. It was so cheesy, but Lando liked it, I guess. After the movie I realized it was 4:30 and I had to get ready for my date. I jumped in the shower and got ready.

At around 5:30 mom came in to tell me the Mclaughlin's would be coming over for dinner and if I wanted to stay I could. I reminded her about my date, even though I wanted to stay so I could have an excuse to hang around Locke, but he'd probably just think I was stalking him. She left my room and I heard a knock at the door, they were here. I finished getting ready and walked upstairs.

I saw Locke first. My heart started to beat faster and my eyes darted away as soon as he looked over at me. I walked over to Rhett and Jessie (Locke's parents) to greet them. "Wow, Lily you look fancy. Do you have plans tonight?" Jessie asked.

"Yeah, I'm going on a date with a boy from school." I glanced over at Locke, but he wasn't paying attention. I walked in to the living room to wait for Chris. Just as I sat down the boys came in to play Xbox.  Since Locke walked in last he got the remaining seat on the couch, right next to me. He sat down.

"Hey."

"Hi." I replied. I looked at the TV.

"So, you ready for your date with Chris?" He asked shyly. I glanced over at him. I was about to speak when I heard a car horn outside.

"Welp, that must be him." I stood up and grabbed my purse. "Bye mom, bye dad."

"Bye! Be good!!" My mom replied. I walked out the front door and saw Chris sitting in his car waiting for me. I got in and he began driving the second I shut the door.

"Hey." I said as I put my seatbelt on because he was driving at least 40 on a 25 mph street. "So where are we going?"

"I don't know, McDonalds?" He said as he sped through a yellow light.

"You know you could slow down." I said as I prayed he would slow, but he completely ignored me. "So McDonalds..." I tried to start a conversation, but he was not responding. We pulled thru the drive thru at McDonalds.

"What do you want? You can have anything on the dollar menu." He said as if I had earned some big prize.

"Um, a cheesburger."

"With fries?" I nodded. He ordered and we pulled up to the window where he paid them and they handed him our bag of food. We pulled out and into the vacant parking lot. He pulled out my burger and fries and handed them to me. I began eating when he finally started a conversation. "So, you like Locke, huh." He said with a mouthful of food. I was shocked, how could he know, but I guess the whole school knows thanks to Julie.

"Yeah, kinda, but that ship has sailed." I said quietly.

"So you just said yes to me to try and make him jealous?" He knew my plan. How?

"To be honest, yeah." I felt ashamed.

"Don't worry, I don't mind. It's a win win. You make him jealous, and I get a girl." The way he said he gets me set a shiver down my back. Why did he GET me...?

"So your'e okay with all of this?" He nodded. "Do you think it will actually make him jealous?"

"Sure. If you do everything I tell you, you'll make any boy jealous of you." What did he mean by EVERTHING?

"What does everything mean?"

"It means everything. If you are willing to commit, he will be jealous within a month." He said reassuring. The sadie's dance was in month, maybe Locke will be so jealous by then he'll take me. "So are you willing to commit? No backing out. You back out and you WILL regret it." I agreed. "Good. Let's do this." He leaned towards me.

"What are you doing?!" I leaned back.

"You agreed! Everything I said." He fought back.

"How will this make him jealous? He's not here."

"No, but I'll make sure to bring it up at school tomorrow that we made-out, driving him crazy." He smiled.

"Okay, but we don't actually have to make-out to tell people we did."

"Remember, win for you and win for me. Plus, I don't like to lie." He raised his eyebrow and smiled. I thought about it for a minute. I mean how bad could one little kiss be.

"Fine." He smiled and leaned forward. I leaned in and our lips crashed together. He grabbed my waist and pulled me toward him. I hesitated, so I didn't really kiss back, I just sat there with my lips puckered while he did all the kissing. He grabbed my arms and put them around his neck, then put his arms back on my waist. He pulled away, and I opened my eyes.

"If you want me to tell people we made-out, you need to make-out with me." I nodded and leaned in. I didn't want to kiss him, so I imagined him as Locke and leaned in to kiss him. He kissed me with such force it was hard to keep my balance. His mouth tasted of liquor and I started to question his plan, but he was the only shot I had to get Locke, I was desperate. He started to move his hands up from my waist and I immediantly grabbed his hands and pushed away.

"Whoa there! I thought it was just kissing." He smiled. He said something under his breath that I couldn't understand.

"You said no backing out." He's right.

"Yeah, but I, uh, I have to be home now anyway." I said just trying to get out of this situation.

"Fine. So now we're dating, which means at school we have to hold hands and hang out, oh and we have to kiss in front of Locke to really seal the deal." He was so excited, I wasn't sure how I felt about this whole deal, but I said I wasn't gonna back out, so I won't. He started the car and drove me home.

"Well, thanks for dinner. See you later." I got out of the car and walked inside to see the Mclaughlin's still sitting in the living room, playing games.

"Hey, honey! Want to join us, we're playing charades" My mom said cheerfully.

"No thanks, I think I'll just go to sleep. Thanks though. Goodnight." They went back to their game and I walked through the house to get to my room. I realized that Locke wasn't in the living room when I walked in, he must have gone home. I walked downstairs and turned the corner to see Locke looking at the family pictures on the wall. I stopped dead in my tracks. He noticed me and turned to look at me.

"Oh, hey. I had to pee, and I saw these beauties." He smiled and pointed to the ancient family photos on the wall. His smile was so perfect, it left me speechless. "So, how was your date?" My mind went blank, how could I tell him I made-out with Chris just to make him jealous?

"Good. You know he's really that bad of a guy." I tried to look like I was telling the truth, I think he saw that I was lying, but he didn't say anything. He paused for a second.

"Good. I wish you two the best." He looked at the stairs behind me. "Well I better get back up there. Goodnight." He walked past me, but his hand grazed my arm and my heart stopped. "Oh, sorry." He smiled and walked back upstairs. I stood there like an idiot for a good 5 minutes before running to my room. I screamed into my pillow. He touched me. The plan was already working. Chris is a genius.
