Blinking away sleep Philza sat up. He didn't move from his place on his bed, quietly humming while thinking of what he was going to do that day. It didn't take long before he decided he would sit in the attic for a while, and wait for this sons to awaken. Living as a ghost is quite boring. Especially when you're bound to one building and the furthest away you can get is the backyard shed.
It's rather funny how quickly your life can change. One second you're graduating High School, the next your adopting twins. Then the twins are graduating. Then you're dead. Then you're roaming as ghosts. Then you hear the closing of a car door, as two new figures enter the house.

Tommy raced out of the car, completely ignoring his mothers shouts for him to return. He let out and excited laugh as Tubbo came out behind him, much slower then he would have liked. He grabbed Tubbo, "Can you believe it Tubbo! We get to spend the entire summer here!"
"Tommy..." His mother sighed as she handed him one of his few bags, "I'm glad your excited, but please come get your belongings. I'm not going to carry all your things inside." If she hadn't given Tommy the bag when she did, he would have rushed in the house, trying to claim the best room. After a few minutes of unpacking, all of their belongings were set on the porch. Tommy rushed Inside.
"Race you to the top!" Tommy had shouted at Tubbo running for the stairs. "Hey! No fair!" Tubbo rushed after him trying to claim first place, even though the blonde had a head-start. Tommy's mother just sighed grabbing the few most important bags and taking them to the kitchen. It was already well past 10pm. "Boys! Grab your stuff from outside, before I throw it to the animals." The sound of loud, heavy footsteps echoed down the stairs and into the kitchen.
Summer Vacation only started a few days ago, when Tommy's mother announced they were going to stay at a cabin on a lot they owned. The place had recently been redone, after a tragic fire took its deadly hold on the house. Tommy, to some miracle had convinced his mother to bring Tubbo, his cousin and closest friend, along with them. Meaning not only would they have lots of time for themselves, they could also stream together more often.
The group had decided to sleep in the living room since no one wanted to take the time to clean and setup their new rooms for the summer. But as if fate was against them, Tommy's mother had received a phone call. "Mrs. Innit speaking," was heard as she left the room. Tommy and Tubbo shared a glance. They were both well aware then Mrs. Innit's job often called for her to return to work on her breaks. It wasn't a uncommon occurrence, but it wasn't rare either. And as if their luck was turning for the worst.
"I have to return home. They really need me at the clinic." An audible sigh was heard from Tommy and Tubbo. "But," she brightened, "I'm going to left you boys stay." The look of surprise a disbelief was very noticeable on their faces. Tommy let out a breathy laugh, "Wait, your being serious?"
Mrs. Innit only nodded as she gathered her things near the door, "You boys are 16. Its not like I can't trust you by yourselves. Ill be back whenever I can. Just don't do anything stupid, anything that could get you in trouble, and let me know if anything is wrong. I'll send your grandmother down here every once in a while to check on you two. I'll leave first thing in the morning."
They weren't going to argue with that, a house all to themselves, it was a miracle in their eyes. But maybe not to the entities inside the house.

Tommy and Tubbo woke early that morning After say good bye to Mrs. Innit, Tommy immediately rushed up the stairs when his mother left the wooded driveway. "I'm going to pick a room." Tommy had called to Tubbo. "Ok, I'm kinda hungry so ill eat first."
