CHAPTER 2
The fog machines made the smoke curl around various figures, before enveloping them once again, making them bob in and out of view. Green LED lights flashed everywhere, and were the only source of light. On the common room sofas sat a few 7th years, drunk already and not looking as if their consumption was going to come to a stop any time soon. Rosey parted ways with Aiden to join the party, a dance party was alive with music, the lights flickering to the beat. Rosey was quick to get to the dance floor, moving to the rhythm, allowing various guys to come up and dance with her. She danced till Aiden grabbed her waist and brought her down to the couch. In the circle sat her friend group, and then Malfoys.
"Malfoy you said you weren't going to come," Rosey breathed out as she was still trying to catch her breath from dancing. He was leaning back in a cushioned black chair, wearing a green button up, that had 3 buttons undone, revealing a part of his pecs.
"I changed my mind," He barely even spared Rosey a glance, and it pissed her off.
"I thought we were going to this to get away from that," Rosey said pointedly staring at the bored blonde in the chair.
"Well he brought veritaserum so.." Daniel responded as Malfoy reached into his pants pocket and brought out a vial.
"We're playing truth or dare," Aiden narrated from his seat next to Rosey as Malfoy began to pour the potion into shot glasses. That's what made this game dangerous, you didn't even have the privilege of forgetting what happened during the game, you will be painfully aware of your words but still won't be able to stop saying them.
Before anyone even had grabbed their glass Rosey grabbed hers from the table.
"Then what are we waiting for," She said right before she downed the glass.
"Well it's not like we were waiting for hours, he literally just poured the drink Rosey," Aiden mumbled to himself before tipping back his head and drinking his, his jawline pulsing when he swallowed.
After everyone had drunken theirs, Blaise was the first to speak up.
"I'm going first," Everyone nodded and he continued, "Aubrey, do you really love Daniel, or is he just convenient to you," Aubrey's eyes shot up to him, visibly surprised.
"Way to ease into the game Blaise," Malfoy chuckled as he spoke, then turning his head to see what Aubrey would say. She seemed to try to fight her response but the veritaserum took over and she began.
"Of course he's convenient, he's quiet, agrees with everything I say, and looks great with me. And of course I love him, he's kind, and sweet, and he seems to read my emotions before I even feel them. When my mother was killed in front of me he found me and took care of me, his family has become my own, and I am forever thankful for them," She finished and blushed profusely as everyone's eyes widened. She never talked about what happened to her mother and she certainly never talked about her emotions.
"Well damn," Rosey broke the silence.
"It's my turn now," Aubrey shook her head and Daniel grabbed her hand and squeezed it slightly in support. She turned to Daniel. "Have you always stayed loyal to me since we started dating," This was definitely not the question they were expecting out of Aubrey, but veritaserum made her absolutely bizarre.
"No," Aiden spat out the alcohol he was drinking and turned to look at Daniel.
"Bro what the fuck. When," Aiden demanded. Everyone in the circle looked absolutely astonished. The most loyal couple had just been thoroughly teared in pieces.
