The Cursed Blood Bender (Korra X Reader)

Ch. 4 ~Team Avatar Captured~

Bolin and I arrived back at the middle of Air temple island after cutting back through the forest it's starting to get a little dark. As we cut through the final bush and walk through around to the front of air temple island I can see that Bolin's brother Mako is standing there in the middle atop of the Ying and Yang symbol that is in the middle of the air temples court grounds.

"I was looking for both of you. You've been gone for nearly two hours. Care to explain." Mako says angerly crossing his arms. "Chillax bro, we were just talking on the edge of the forest its good, and I was about to show Y/n to his room." Bolin says simply.

"Yeah I was thinking when Bolin arrived, and we started talking so we kind of lost track of time." I tell him. "Well showing Y/n his room will have to wait. The first patrol of Team Avatar is about to start so we need to get over to Asami and Korra." Mako says. "The first?" I ask him questioning.

"Yeah the first, we just formed Team Avatar. Congrats your a founding member" Mako says agitated. As he walks pass us back towards the start of the descent to the large dock for air temple. "I get the feeling he doesn't like me" I say out loud to the sky. When I hear Bolin creep to the side around my shoulder. "I mean you did kind of almost broke his girlfriends spine" Bolin tells me.

I raise my eyebrows a little at him. "If I wanted to break her spine. She would already be in a wheelchair" I say monotone to Bolin. "Well that might be the problem." He tells me. I shrug my shoulders as I walk to where Mako fled to.

"Look, Bolin for some reason I broke my never trust anyone the first time I meat you. As for some reason I told you my short story. So sorry if I seem a little defensive." I say to him as I soon start the descent to the docks.

"You did? For me?" He says I can tell he's pointing at himself. "You just have that trustworthy face, but.." I say whilst turning around. "Do not break my trust. Got it" I say giving him a glare.

He seems a little terrified. "Yep. You got it boss" He tells me. I nod slightly at him. Before turning around and starting to walk down the so many stairs. I look down to where I can see the dark grey concrete dock much like Republic City. As I look at the dock I can see the small figure of The Avatar next to Asami. I can tell that The Avatar turned to look at me. So I stop and just look down at the stone steps as I walk down.

And before I know it I wasn't walking on the steps I was walking on the dock. So I looked forward to see Mako, Asami and The Avatar starring at me. Mako still agitated and annoyed, The Avatar smiling and Asami watching with curiosity.

As I got closer head down I hear Mako start talking. "I don't get why, where taking him with us?" I hear him say in a hushed whisper. "Mako we talked about this." Asami says quickly back. "No we didn't, Korra didn't even ask us." Mako say probably having his hand pointing at Korra. "She talked to me about it and I agree. He should come." Asami says.

"Whatever. Not like I care" Now hearing Mako say that was interesting as I feel his heart beat increase by ten. "Lie." I say as I reach them looking up slightly. "What?" Mako says annoyed that I would even speak. "You do care, you were simply lying because you didn't want to talk anymore." After I say that Mako sounds even angrier.

And it seems the girls are gonna stay out of this. Mako approach's me slightly. "Yeah well no one asked for your opinion" He says pointing at me. "Not an opinion, it's a fact" I say to him at this point I don't know why I'm continuing to talk.

Mako turned around to look down. Before quickly spinning around his face showing him enraged. And I see him swing a fist around at me, but I didn't allow it to connect as I jumped up kicking Mako right in the chin with the top of my toes. As I turn in midair. Landing perfectly on the concrete a couple of steps away from him.
