Ch. 10 ~Aftermath~

"Why do I have to come out for this again?" I ask Korra, turning my head only to see the left side of hers.

"Because Y/N, you were the one that saved Tenzin and his family so your going to welcome them back." She said, smiling having turned to me to answer the question.

"Right," I say emotionless as we both then turn back to facing the water. The docks weren't busy at all, probably a result of Amons take over.

There were a few dock workers going about their business, yet that was about it.

"When are the rest going to get here." I ask wondering what's happening with Bolin, Mako and Asami. "They'll get here soon alright, they had to run some errands. Be patient."

She said to me not getting annoyed just answering quickly, "being patient would always get me caught by someone." I answered quietly, she seems concerned.

Remaining quiet though still just starring over the waves to the horizon where Tenzin will be coming from.

It was quiet after that, the workers going about their business, cars driving around and being noisy.

"Do you.." Korra started about to trail off, I could see her question from a mile away. "No." I tell her simply, she lowers her head understanding before pulling it back up.

It's quiet for a couple more minutes until we hear. "Hey Y/N, Korra." It came from Bolin's bombastic voice.

Me and Korra both immediately turned our heads to see them, both with a respective pair of stances my arms crossed over my chest, hers resting on her hips.

I saw Bolin smiling at us with Pabu curled around his shoulders, Bolin is followed by Asami, Mako and even Lin.

"Lin!" I heard Korra shout happy to see her, she was about to start walking towards her, but Lin closed the distance grabbing and holding Korra by the shoulders. "I can't believe Amon got you too."

Everyone else came up to us quickly following Lin, where Bolin speaks up brightly saying. "Hey, at least you unlocked your air bending!"

That got everyone's ire as everyone turned to him, glaring at him sourly. I just shake my head to myself.

I hear Pabu chitter softly to Bolin, "bro, not the time." Mako says simply to him.

Bolin then looked sheepish raising his hand and scratching his neck as he looks away in guilt. "Right, right, I'll just stand over here." Bolin said as he started backing away slowly. "Quietly," he said placing his hands over his mouth and whispering. "In silence."

I was about to walk over to him, to join him in his silence. But a large noise goes off sounding like a steam boats horn going off, everyone turned to the bay seeing several massive metal ships making their way through the water.

They chugged through the water with one ship taking the helm with every second it got closer. Everyone smiled at it as it came up to the dock turning into it. With it stopping just before it smashed into the dock.

A bridge then came down, connecting the boat to the dock followed by Tenzin, his family, Oogi and Naga coming down from it.

The bridge didn't buckle under their weight with them spotting us coming over to us slowly.
