Chapter Six

Sey's POV

"So how exactly do we get this done? " Hakim asks after a few minutes of silence

" Well it's easy , tomorrow's the welcome ceremony for the freshmans,so we sneak in when everybody's at the schools auditorium ,including the Chancellor , and get back in time for the party " I say and I receive a few nods from them

" Well sounds good to me " Ursula says

" The main ceremony only takes an hour before the party, so we need to find the folder within that period " Hakim adds

" Plus make sure we are back on time so no one notices​ our absence " Summer also adds and we all agree

" So I guess everything is settled then , all we need to do is make an appearance and we'll figure the rest out " I explain​ . I'm glad they've all agreed to this , four heads are better than one I guess . The girls and I bore Hakim out as we plan our outfits out for tomorrow's​ ceremony . We decide we'll all dress up at Ursula's and since the ceremony begins at five , we'll meet at 4 to have enough time to get ready . We leave Sheackle at six and make our way back to our homes.

I make it back in time for dinner and enjoy one of aunt Sylvia's lasagna. She informs me that Ahim left a few minutes right after I did and said to call him when I get back. After a lazy shower I make it to bed, but I'm​ seriously dreading sleeping, the consistent nightmares are beginning to creep me out . I decide to call Ahim but he doesn't pick up and I give up after the fifth ring . I go to the kitchen and grab some snacks , head back inside and log into Netflix on my laptop.
After strolling through for almost thirty minutes , I decide on The girl with all the gifts. Half way through the movie, I feel my eyelids growing heavy , and ,heavy till it shuts .

Its dark, pitch black, the void ,nothingness , suddenly I'm falling, I'm screaming but no sound comes out. Then the dizziness hits me and my eyelids begin to flutter close and I'm drifting away till I can't even feel my heart beat....

" Ahhhh...fuck , fuck ,fuck " I jolt up angry and start hurling my pillows at the wall. What the fuck is the meaning of this!

" I'm trying to fucking sleep ! " I yell at the wall. What kind of nightmare makes you feel like you're about to die. I get down from my bed and and pick one of the pillows​ and climb back in bed , I check my alarm clock and it's already five in the goddamn morning.

" Now you're going to be a good pillow and help me with some good morning sleep " I say to my pillow and punch it for some seconds and when I'm satisfied I lie down and close my eyes.

When I wake up again, the sun is burning through my windows like I just landed in the Savannah dessert. I yawn and stretch myself happily on my bed

" Now, that was some well deserved sleep " I mumble to my self . I check my phone and it's all ready three in the afternoon and I need to be at Ursula's at four. Shit! I have five missed calls from both her and Summer and two from Ahim . I don't have time I'll have to call him later. I'm sure he wants to know whether to pick me up for the ceremony. I quickly text him telling him that I'll be going with the girls and to meet him there. I make a quick trip to the bathroom and take another shower, I put on a loose shirt and tra and start parking to go to Ursula's . I pull out the white gown I wore to my welcome ceremony last year and neatly fold it into my backpack and add a pair of silver heals plus clutch. I'll just use Ursula's make up.

I step out of my room and into the kitchen to find some food . I find a plate of pancakes , and S inscribed on it with syrup. I smile at it , it's obvious aunt Sylvia left it for me, even though it's too late for pancakes, I chunk them down like my life depends on it , half way through my meal , aunt Sylvia shows up holding a big white box , and sits right beside me .
