Sey's POV

" Let's toast to our victory guys" Ursula says and raises her glass of strawberry carnival and we all clink.

After we left the chancellor's office we got down and joined the party. Hakim got each one of us a glass of strawberry carnival and ice.

" Even though there were some complications " I mumble and sip my drink

" You mean some really hot complications " Summer winks at me and I gasps

" Summer ! " I scold at the same time Ursula says " true " . Hakim looks pale like he's choked on something

" Come on Ursula , we know very well you don't do guys " I remind her

" I do you guys " she jokes and we all laugh " but it doesn't mean I don't admire a hot guy when I see one " she states with a wink . Hakim groans loudly and we laugh at how uncomfortable he looks.

" Please I've had enough " he pleads but it lands on deaf ears

" Lets be honest , pony tailed guy couldn't even take his eyes off you " Ursula says batting her lashes at me and I blush scarlett

" She has a boyfriend " Hakim states coming to his brothers rescue

" Come on we all know better " Summer cheeks in and my eyes go wide

" What the fuck do you mean by that ! " my voice goes high pitch over the loud music around us and I feel my heart thumping against my chest

" Look Sey, were girls not dumb , Hakim might not have figured it out but we know how you really feel about Ahim " Ursula whispers , and by the look on Hakim's face he clearly heard her. What the fuck I'm I suppose to say to that? I can't admit it infront of Hakim that I don't actually have feelings for his brother. He might be my best friend but he cares for his brother more. And I may seem selfish, leading Ahim on for two good years. But I'm not entirely at fault. I was practically forced into the relationship. And it seemed convinient at the time , but now that I've finally admitted it to my self that I don't have feelings for Ahim, it's becoming harder and harder to play along.

" I don't know what made you say that but , I don't want to talk about it " I say to the girls and turn away from them . I'm lost in my own thoughts but hear when Hakim shyly asks Summer to dance with him and they leave for the dance floor.

" You know Sey, almost 18 years of friendship means a lot to me, and if the rest never take notice I do, you're easy to read, you just need to make up your mind about what you really want , there's no way you can let him go without hurting his feelings, he has always loved you like a sister and like a girlfriend" Ursula speaks softly when we're finally alone. Her words hits me deep and I feel even worse than I already do. I feel my eyes begin to water

" I ..I ..don't know what the fuck to do ..I'm so confused " I sniff and Ursula gathers me in her arms .

" Shh...it's fine , you'll figure it out . You always do " she runs my back softly . We stay like that for sometime until she whispers in my ear

" He's here " she's doesn't need to say who because I already know who it is . I wipe my tear stained face and turn to face him

" Hey beautiful, missed you " he says and I find myself in his arms clinging onto him

" You okay ?" he asks pulling back a little to look at my face

" mmh yeah " I mumble and hug him again . And to say I never want him in my life . Never! I hold onto him tight and deep down I'm saying , sorry, Ahim I'm really sorry.

" Hey Ursula " he finally acknowledges her and I hear her mumble hey back

" Wanna dance ?" he asks after sometime caressing my cheeks
