KATARA'S POV:
"So? Will you two be a couple now?" Suki asked. "That's you goal? Suki, give us time," I said. Then I blushed. What did I just do?
"What?" Zuko asked, sitting back up. "Oh, shit!" I exclaimed. "Wait, what?" Sokka asked.
"Well, for one thing, we're in the middle of a war. Chill out on us. Like Iroh once told me, true-" He gulped at this part- "love- will find it's own path. Just give it time," Aang said. Oh, Spirits, Aang, what the hell?
"Wait, love? Oh, yes!" Suki exclaimed. "NO! No, that's- Wait! No! It's not a no- but it's not a ye- Oh, Avatar, this isn't good," he muttered. I was insanely blushing. What the hell is wrong with me?
"So it's a yes?" Suki asked. "No! But it is- no! It's not- but it's not a no!" Aang exclaimed.
"What the hell is going on out here?" my dad suddenly asked, rubbing his eyes as he walked over to us. I quickly stopped my blushing and dropped Aang's hand.
"Katara and Aang are a couple!" Sokka blurted. I tackled him to the ground and started to punch him.
Aang grabbed my waist and pulled me off of my brother. I blushed as I felt his hands wrapped around my waist. Oh, Spirits, Aang....
"What? We're in the middle of a war, Tara," my dad said. I glared at Sokka as Aang held me in his lap, still blushing like crazy.
"We're not a couple," I said bluntly. "So you're just leaning on him for no reason?" Zuko asked. "Ok, that's it!" I said as I got up to attack him as well.
Aang held me back by waist again, and lent me on him. "Hey, Kat, please don't kill him," he whispered in my ear.
"Tara, I'm not mad. But please, we're in a war, baby," my dad said, sitting down next to Sokka. I groaned and Aang held me upright, but still leaning on him.
"We're not a couple!" I said, disappointed. I really want to be, though. Damn it.
"Are you or not?" my dad asked. "No, sir, we're not," Aang said. "Avatar's promise."
"Ok, that's fine. I honestly don't care anymore. But what are you guys even doing out here? It's well past midnight," he asked.
"We're playing truth or dare," Toph said. "No, I'm trying to get Kat and Aang together. But it's hopeless!" Suki said, flopping onto Sokka.
My dad chuckled. "Ok. Well, keep it down. You almost woke up Chit Sang, and he was not happy about it," he said. I rolled my eyes.
"We will. You can go back to bed. I'll keep an eye on them," Sokka said. My dad nodded and walked away.
The second my dad was out of sight I leaped onto Sokka and started to attack him.
"Holy shit," Aang muttered as he carefully approached me. "Kat, come on," he said, grabbing my hand. I blushed at the contact but continued to kill my brother.
"Aang, help!" Sokka screamed. Suki was laughing. "I'm trying!" Aang replied.
Aang finally managed to get ahold of my waist, and I stopped attacking when he did. He grabbed me and put me against him. I was a blushing mess.
"Kat, it's ok. We'll figure this out. It's just you and me," he whispered in my ear. I had a sudden flashback to when we did that dance in the cave.
"Yes, Sugar Queen! Kiss him!" Toph cheered. I tried to get up to attack her but Aang held me back. Toph shot a rock at me and Aang smashed it to dirt again.
"What don't you get about don't hurt her?" he asked. Everyone 'ooh-ed' except me. I was blushing like crazy.
"So it's a yes?" Suki asked. I rolled my eyes as Aang held a tighter grip on me.
"Would you all stop interfering in the Avatar's love life?" he asked. "Fine, fine," Suki gave up. "Thank you," Aang and I said at the same time.
"Ok, but you still have to hold hands," Suki said. Sokka rolled him eyes as I blushed. Aang slowly picked me up and put me down next to him. He grabbed my hand and I felt my heart flutter at the contact.
"Ok. Uhm.. Zuko, truth or dare?" he asked. "Truth," he replied.
