Chapter thirty three

After the team dragged hinata to shower and change, they left for the cafeteria. By the time they got there, all the teams and coaches were there already.

They grabbed their food and sat down at a table. Everyone was with their corresponding teams. By no surprise, the place was loud as Arguments and chatter scattered around the room.

About half an hour later, most of the players were done with their food. Some stayed behind to chat, while others left to their team rooms to talk there.

As Hinata finished his food, he got up and dismissed himself from the table. He put his plate away and walked towards his coach. Karasuno watched his every move with curious eyes.

"Coach ukai" hinata called out to ukai. "Yes hinata" ukai responded.

"I was wondering if you would let me go out to my job. It's near here and I already have my mom's permission" hinata said as he handed ukai a piece of paper.

"Uh sure kid, but what time will you be coming back?" Ukai agreed.

"I'll come back before the lights are out, if anything, here's my phone number and the number of my work place" hinata handed him another piece of paper.

"Alright, by the way, since when do you have a job?" ukai asked confused, still looking at the paper, specifically the work number. 'hmmm'

Hinata chuckled a bit " I got this job not too long ago, but I was working for some time now. I have to support my family somehow." he smiled as he ran off.

"He's surprisingly more responsible than some of these kids here" ukai said out loud and turned back to the other coaches. They were drinking with saeko.

Not too long after, Sugawara came by to ask where hinata was going.

"He said he was going to his job" Ukai informed.

"Mizore?!? Elizabeth?!? Tsukune?!? "Hinata yelled out as he entered the 'workers only' area of his job.

"Is that you sho" mizore came out the corner when she heard the voice. Trailing behind her were Elizabeth and Tsukune.

Hinata smiled from ear to ear "oh hey shrimpy" Tsukune teased as hinata rolled his eyes.

"Hheeyyy!" Elizabeth greeted Hinata enthusiastically, all three of them pulled hinata for a hug.

"Woahhh!" Hinata exclaimed, seeing the small changes in his friends.

"Mizore, your hair is now a darker shade of pink" hinata grabbed the pinkettes hair, stroking it.

"See! I told you he would notice, my baby is a much better friend than yall" mizore said with pettiness in her voice, Causing Elizabeth to roll her eyes. "Yea, yea." she said, shrugging it off.

"Ooo! I love the nose piercing" hinata pointed at Elizabeth's nose piercing. It was a beautiful septum piercing, it had small diamonds decorating it.

Elizabeth smiled smugly "thank you for noticing sho" she said as she eyed mizore. "Seee! Sho is a much better friend than you" Elizabeth mocked Mizore, as she too didn't realize that small detail.

Mizore put her hands up in defence "ok, ok, my bad" she chuckled rolling her eyes.

"ooh, me next! Me next!" tsukune said joyfully, shoving both girls aside. He stood proud in front of Hinata with his chest out and his hands on his hips. "Sooo...." he eagerly waited for Hinata to realize the small detail.

"Uhhh, you grew taller?" Hinata stated but came out more like a question.

Tsukune gave hinata a face that read 'are you kidding' making hinata laugh out loud.

"Im kiddin, I'm kidding. You cut your eyebrow a slit" hinata pointed out.

"Finally!!" tsukune yelled.

'Ohhs!' erupted from the other two girls.

"Ehh, not really that noticeable." Elizabeth shrugged.

"Oh and your nose ring is" tsukune said with a matter of fact tone.

As all three of them caught up with hinata, the smaller boy got ready for his job. As they laughed and conversed with each other, A man with short blue hair, wearing a wireless microphone headset piece, came in the room.

"Uhh, pumpkin, they want you" the man said and left.

"Ok guys, I got to go" Hinata announced before running off.

It was the next day, the second day of training camp. The first person to wake up was nishinoya.

Deciding that he was bored and alone, he was going to wake up the rest of karasuno. "Wake up guys, its morning already" he yelled, but no response.

He tried again, but no one made a sound. Already tired of it, he went up to the curtains and pulled it to the side.

The sun hit everyone's face like a flashlight in a dark room. Instantly groans were heard all around the room.

Some even threw pillows at the poor guy. "Hey, wake up. Let's go eat" he stated as he walked all over everybody. A sigh was heard "what time is it" someone asked.

"Time for you to get up" nishinoya responded. Another groan of annoyance was heard.

"Goddamit nishinoya, its six in the morning!" ennoshita yelled.

"Ok, so?" nishinoya shrugged.

"Soo?!? Training camp doesn't start until nine!" daichi yelled.

"But the early bird gets the worm" nishinoya pouted.

"Yea but the late worm doesn't get eaten by the early bird" tanaka fought back"

"Wait... where's hinata?" kinoshita asked.

At that statement, everyone quickly got up, frantically looking around. Even tsukishima and kageyama shot awake, but they tried to play it off.

"He wasn't there when i woke up. Come to think of it, we never did see him when we went to sleep, and his blankets and pillows are in the same spot as before" nishinoya thought back.

It was quite in the room. No one moved, no one spoke, just everybody looking at each other.

Then....

Everyone in the room erupted.

'What do you mean he never came to sleep!!'

'Why are his blankets and pillows not touched!!'

'Where the hell is that idiot?!?'

Everyone ran around the room like roaches in the light, scattering all over the place. People tripping over blankets, pillows, eachother, and even themselves.

Between the whole commotion, sugawara started yelling.

"Why the hell didn't you wake us up, nishinoya!! This is serious, what if he got kidnapped. Who knows what they could be doing to him." the silver haired setter yelled, running around the room looking for his practice shorts.

"Suga, calm down, you're gonna scare asahi. Maybe he just woke up early." daichi reached for the silver haired boy, attempting to calm him down.

"This is Hinata we're talking about, we struggle to wake him up, let alone him waking up by himself in the morning" Tsukishima was stressing on the inside.

"Maybe if we start yelling meet buns he'll show up" tanaka suggested.

Everyone in the room looked at him as if he grew three heads. "What, i'm just saying"

"Wait, maybe coach ukai knows where he is" narita exclaimed.

Everyone looked at each other and nodded running towards the door.

"Coach!!!!"
