"Yes baby we can" I chuckled knowing she was annoyed of taking my photos for me.
I locked up the house and we hopped in my mercedez benz. I made sure they were all properly strapped in the backseat before pulling off.
My daughters and I were spending some quality time together today. A good mother and daughter bonding day always does us good. I had the day well planned for us. Our first stop was going to be at Karin's salon. My bestfriend no longer works in salon but she still owns it. She's too busy doing celebrity hair and house calls to sit in a salon and do regular folks hair and I couldn't be more proud of her for that. The fact that I can do what she does but decided on a different path for myself makes me wonder what it would've been like if I focused on being a hairstylist as well. Would we open a salon together, or if not would we have the same clients, would we become competitive and let it ruin our friendship? I highly doubt the last one but just the thought of it puts me at ease to know that it's not humanly possible since I decided on another course for myself. • •

"I said no Kaziah, pick something else." She stood there with a pout on her face. After I got her hair done at the salon, we both got our nails done then went to an ice cream parlor. Then we went to the mall and we've been here for almost two hours now hopping from store to store. I've bought almost everything that Kaziah and Kassidy have asked for but this one toy that she already has at home which makes way too much noise for my liking, I'm definitely not buying her another one.
She stood there with a pout on her face but she knew better than to throw a fit in here though. Kassidy on the other hand stood on the side just watching the scene unfold.
"Miani if you're not going to take anything else, let's go cash this out so we can leave this store." I said leading the way to the cashier. She didn't say a word but followed closely behind. Her interest was now on her ipad. I shaked my head and focused on the long line I stood in. As to why it was this long I couldn't tell you because black friday wasn't for another three more weeks. The vibration in my bag alerted me that my phone was ringing so I pulled out my iphone 11 Pro to see Dave calling me so I picked it up.
