"Damn it's been a while I seen the whole gang together." Lyla said entering our section.
"Yeah and it's been a while we seen y'all ugly asses too." Bully joked.
"Fuck off nigga."
"Hey East, wats good?" She smirked at me.
"Uh uh, it ain't no "hey East". Fuck off thotianna" Bully spoke up making everyone laugh.
"Yeah and what's good is he and his GIRL." Ace said and I chuckled at his pettiness. This nigga never liked a bone in Lyla's body.
"Nigga what girlfriend ?" She questioned.
"I hope it's not that bitch with the long chin I seen him with. I swear East knows he can do much better " Lyla voiced.
"Man you must've smoked crack before you came here because you talking mad crazy right now. Don't get fucked up disrespecting my girl." I calmly spoke.
"Nigga nust be in a good mood tonight" Shooter joked.
"I know you're not seriously dating that spoilt rich girl!" Lyla spat.
"Girl you basically just got a warning. Count ya blessings and walk away." Ace said to her.
"Let's go Ly" The smart friend spoke up. Lyla threw up her middle fingers and bounced, not like anyone was phased by it.
"I hate that thot on gawd man." Ace voiced.
"You don't say" Bully sarcastically said.
"Man fuck you, I'm going for a drink."
"Aye bring me one!"
"Nigga you got legs don't you?" Ace remarked. Bully and Ace went to the bar leaving myself,Shooter and a few bitches that Ace brought up in the section.
"So everything cool with Kacey?" Shooter asked coming a kittle closer so he wouldn't have to shout over the nusic too much.
"Yeah cuz, she be bugging sometimes but ain't shit I can't handle."
"I still can't believe you dating Dollar daughter man, that's crazy."
"Shiitt, you telling me ? I definitely didn't see that coming "
"You didn't even know bossman had a daughter so of course you wouldn't see it coming nigga "
"She worries bout telling him." I told him.
"Nigga and you telling me you ain't ? That nigga could have your head on a stick quicker than you could blink."
"I mean she grown, he can't really tell her who to be with." I shrugged.
"East think about what you just said. That ain't no regular dude you dealing with remember that. He might not be able to tell his grown daughter who to be with but he can still control the nigga she with. That man could kill you and make it look like a fucking suicide. Don't let being with Kacey make you forget who Dollar is or why they call him the King of New York. You can't let your guard down man, for all you know he could be having you followed." I sat and listened to everything he just said and my bro was right. Even if Kacey didn't come out and say who she is dating, if the nigga paranoid enough he could follow her and find out on his own. He wouldn't be wrong to do that either given his background, nigga gotta make sure his daughter ain't with no opp or no bumbass nigga. In that case we should probably just come clean and let her parents know wassup, because this lowkey shit making it look like we sneaking around like kids. In Dollars eyes that ain't gon look too good especially when he finds out I'm Kacey's boyfriend but this is something imma have to discuss with her.

Jaime POV
"Okay but why it gotta be New York though?"
"Kyle my entire family lives in New York, why would I want to live anywhere else?"
"Babe you don't have to be where your family at. We're literally about to start our own family."
"Look my family goes through some serious shit sometimes and I need to be close by for stuff like that."
"Every family goes through shit Jaime so what's your point?"
"It's different with us."
"How so?" He questioned. Kyle and I may be together for years now, but he still doesn't know about my father and his dealings with the streets. In Kyle's eyes my dad is just Jaceyon Taylor. The well groomed and respected business man everyone sees. The man who's been featured in magazines quite a few times, married to the IG model & Entrepreneur Bernice Burgos,owns two of the hottest clubs in the whole of New York, has a partnership deal with PUMA and all that but not the kingpin known as Dollar. If it's one thing I kept a secret from Kyle is my father's illegal business dealings. I never told any of my exes about my dad that's something I always keep to myself. You never know who you could trust and when I got with Kyle, I had no idea we would fall in love the way we did but with his dad being a cop it just complicated things for me if I was ever considering to tell him. My dad made it quite clear that he didn't want us ever discussing or mentioning it to anyone. Persons in our family or close to us like family would know like our bestfriends,Brianna,Melody, Amarie, Ann Marie but that's persons that been in our circle forever and still in it. They're our most loyal day ones. Kacey on the other hand goes for the typical guy your dad wouldn't want you with. She met Smokey through Scrappy and that alone should've been a red flag. Ain't no way would I have ever gotten with someone who has any kind of dealings with my dad because the moment they fall out shit can get real serious real quick. Now she did it again with Dave, when she confessed to telling him about dad I was more shocked than anything. I couldn't believe she would be so stupid and reckless to put her trust in someone so fast. She explained how they met to me which isn't a story I would tell our parents if I was in her position but that eas her justification for telling him. For her it's where it all started. Dave killing someone infront of her and trusting that she wouldn't do anything dumb like snitch, then opening up about who he works for just made shit complicated for her. She felt like she was at a cross road, it was either she ended it right there knowing her boyfriend works for her dad, pretend to be clueless and continue dating him but that would lead to a relationship of lies or just come out and be honest and see where it lead to. That was a tough decision to make I don't even know what I would do if I was in her place, for right now they're still doing good but that still wouldn't encourage me to tell Kyle. That's a side of my family I would love to keep away from him.
"JAIME !" Kyle shouted snapping me out of my thoughts
"Shit my bad, I was daydreaming. What did you say ?"
"I said if it means that much to you we could stick to New York, at least for now."
"Really ?"
"Yeah I guess. Besides it's not like we looking for a dream home. We just looking for place for ourselves to be comfortable for now under a roof of our own."
"Aww you're so sweet, thank you baby. You see this is why I love you."
"Damn this the only reason?" He asked acting fake hurt.
"Amongst many other reasons love"
