Kacey POV

It's been a full month since I slept with Trigga and the guilt has been eating me up inside ever since I straight up lied to Dave about anything happening between us that night. As bad as I felt I knew I couldn't tell him. He would have my head if he found out I cheated on him and this is a situation I wouldn't be able to cry my way out of. Ever since that night with Trigga I completely ghosted him. I haven't seen nor talked to him since then. I'm avoiding him at all cost. The last thing I need is for someone to report that they saw us together, or worse yet for Dave himself to see us and even worse than that for us to end up in another sexual encounter. I highly doubt that's possible with how terrible I felt after it all went down but I'm not about to risk it either. I lowkey miss Trigga but for now it's better I just keep my distance. As planned Dave accompanied me to Jaime's baby shower two weeks ago and the one person I was scared for him to meet was my uncle. Thankfully it all went well and he even met Draya who I missed so much. She stayed in New York for about a week at our house before going back to Atlanata with her parents. Jaime is expectee expect to give birth in the next two months and to say I'm excited to become an Aunty is an understatement. I'm at Kyle's place right now keeping Jaime company on my lunch hour before I head back to the salon. We were in the middle of watching a movie when she fell asleep on me.
