SHONNON: typical friends to lovers. they are both in hufflepuff (the sorting hat was torn between placing them in gryffindor or hufflepuff but finally settled on the latter) and they met while chilling in the hufflepuff basement. they are best friends joined at the hip and are very supportive of one another. shanz attends all of shouyou's quidditch matches and sometimes his practices (shouyou shows off his keeper skills™), as well as tutors him (because he is constantly failing transfiguration class. he is the only person who would barge unannounced into her room at midnight and share snacks with her as they talk about trivial matters under the moonlight. soon, he found himself falling for her, but he is too scared to ruin the perfect friendship that they already have.

TOBI-Q: friends to lovers with mutual pining. they are both in ravenclaw (but still radiate peak dumbass energy) and met through common friends: kei (ravenclaw), tadashi (hufflepuff), and sarah (ravenclaw). van is most likely the mastermind behind making them hang out alone, purposely allowing them to get closer to one another. when qq is free, she would drop by tobio's practices (he is a seeker) with a carton of his favourite milk because she knows he gets hungry easily. they talk about how admirable the other is to their other friends once in a while and their friends are sick of hearing it. shouyou most likely pushed tobio to invite qq to be his partner every celestial ball. they are too scared to make more moves because they are pretty much happy with the relationship that they have. it is only until qq starts tutoring tobio on charms (because the boy is hopeless at studying) that he accidentally confesses, and their relationship would be changed forever.

KEIVAN: slowburn enemies to lovers (academic rivalry). they are both in ravenclaw, and the biggest teasers of tobi-q (that is one of their many common traits). they are also highly intelligent and score very well on each test (that is another common trait). they refuse to partner up when project work is involved and would rather do their work solo. it is not until they get stuck in some sort of situation that they have to work together when they start noticing the little things about each other that they (begrudgingly) find cute. and it is also not long after that their friends (especially qq and danielle) tease them the hell out of it. it is not until tadashi practically bullies kei into asking van to the celestial ball that their relationship starts moving way faster than they anticipated it to.

TADARAH: lots of pining involved. they are in different houses (tadashi is a hufflepuff while sarah is a ravenclaw), so they basically do not have much interaction. however, by some sort of divine luck, they share all their classes together. tadashi has a very big crush on sarah, and it does not take a smartass to figure that one whenever you see them together. tadashi basically tried every trick in the book to get as close as possible to sarah and is way too scared to ruin their friendship. he gets a brilliant idea to send secret admirer letters to her via her owl, and sarah has no clue about it. her friends keep completely mum about the sender and deny any knowledge about the sender's identity. it is not until he asks her to the celestial ball that she finally meets her secret admirer, and is super ecstatic.

DAINETA: very senpai-kouhai. they are in different houses (daichi is a gryffindor while zan is a hufflepuff) but they met through tutoring. zan is failing every single astronomy class despite her friends' help that it bothered her professor. she assigned daichi, who is two years her senior, to tutor her, and zan has no choice but to accept (daichi's the top student of the subject in his year). they always meet after his quidditch practices (daichi is a keeper) and they soon get comfortable with one another that zan is not afraid to crack bad jokes with him and eat lunch with him. this spells bad news for zan, because she started realising that she is developing feelings for her senior, and tries desperately to suppress and get rid of all her feelings. little did she know that the same brown-haired boy felt the exact same way about her.
