Adrien Agreste made his way onto the stage. With a quick glance, he saw Kagami in the front row. Adrien got lost in the moment as he played Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. He had practiced for weeks to perfect the song.

After his performance, he bowed. As his eyesight met the audience, he saw a familiar face: Marinette. He frowned, walking to the back room.

'Why is Marinette here?'

As he mind tried to come up with an answer, he bumped into someone.

"Sorry!" he quickly apologized.

He looked to see who had bumped into. It wasn't a familiar face. This guy was tall, tan, slicked-back black hair, green eyes, and his face wore a scowl.

'I wonder if he's new.'

Adrien watched as mean looking guy he had bumped into, took the stage. He commanded the audience's attention, almost immediately. His song started of slow and soft. With a slight pause, his hands few off the keys.

'Winter's Wind by Chopin?'

He watched in awe as he played the whole thing flawlessly.

Adrien sighed as he held the second place trophy in his hand. He couldn't argue with his title. The guy who had played Chopin, did so flawlessly. It made him feel like he had watched a winter's storm.

Kagami grabbed his hand and smiled, giving it a gentle squeeze. They both knew his father would make him play even more now. As they waited for their ride, the winner appeared before them. He seemed to be in the same position, waiting for his ride.

As he moved to congratulate him, Marinette ran past him and kissed the guy's cheek.

"You were amazing, Dami!" Marinette cried.

'She knows him?'

"This was a waste of time." he growled out.

'What?'

"You did really well." Mari pouted, "Stop complaining; you lost the bet."

'What bet?'

"They could have at least given me a challenge." he spoke.

"Damian." Marinette stared at him in disbelief, "You learned piano in a day and won a competition in under 24 hours."

Adrien began to feel a burning in the pit of his stomach. The person who won only entered...due to a bet! He had practiced for weeks! His fingertip had hardened and blistered. He listened to the song so much, it played in his sleep, and this guy was just.....naturally gifted!

"Exactly." he sighed, "All I had to do was play that stupid piano app on the piano. It showed me all the keys! It's like DDR with my fingers! Memorizing the tones and finger positioning weren't even that hard."

Marinette giggled, as the guy complained.

"So you're saying you want something hard to do?" she asked, leaning close to him.

"Yes!" he exclaimed.

"Beat me at UMS3." she smiled.

"I said 'hard', not impossible, Angel." he smirked before placing a kiss on her lips, "Let's go rub this in their faces. They owe me a gala trade-off. Which brother should I have take my place?"

Adrien was in a state of disbelief as they drove off, leaving Kagami to misinterpret Adrien's attention on Marinette, once more.
