2022: 7-Red

Adrien Agreste always associated the color red with love. He fell in love with the color red.

Ladybug: was courageous and brave. She was smart and commanding; a leader.

Kagami: She was quick and fierce. She knew exactly who she was and knew she deserved respect.

What shocked him today was that quiet, shy Marinette had decided to wear red. That wasn't all that was different today, though. Marinette had come to school in a jagged stone shirt and red, high waisted shorts. She had also ditched her pink flats for some boots with red laces.

'Marinette is wearing red, but...but she always wears pink!'

Adrien couldn't help but stare at her.

'She looks beautiful. Why doesn't she wear red more often? She's a fashion designer; I'm sure she can figure out how to wear it more.'

Marinette: she was kind and helpful.

Adrien could feel his cheeks bloom with heat. Red was a distraction, like a laser pointer.

'Maybe, it's the cat in me.'

'Maybe Marinette wouldn't mind getting lunch with me today.'

Adrien looked for Marinette in the courtyard. He was shocked to see her smiling happily and hugging some unknown guy.

'Who is that? I don't think I've seen him at school, before.'

Adrien felt his shoulders lower, in sadness, as the guy kissed her.

"The snowflakes in your hair gives you the appearance of a crown made of ice." the guy spoke.

"Good thing I have the Ice Prince as my boyfriend." Marinette declared.

'Boyfriend?'

"Are you claiming to be my Ice Princess?" the guy asked.

'That's my nickname for her!'

Damian immediately noticed the sour look on his girlfriend's face.

"I don't really like that name-Princess." Marinette stated, "It makes me sound like I have to wait to be rescued and for some guy to save me."

Damian chuckled, "Then, My Valkyrie, I believe we have some shopping to do."

"Yes!" Mari smiled, "I can't wait to get all the fabrics!"

"Habibiti, you have to return to school after lunch. The fabrics will be waiting in your room, after homework and dinner. Then, you can start designing." he stated.

Marinette whined.

"I'll tell Sabine." he declared.

"Fine." Marinette pouted, walking with him to a car.

Adrien sighed. Maybe red was an unlucky color for him. Ladybug didn't want him. Kagami had broken up with him; for a good reason. He made her feel alone and unwanted. Marinette, did he even stand a chance?
