Unlike the movies, there was no lovenote by the bedside table when I woke up.

I pulled the covers up to my chin and smiled ruefully, chastising myself for feeling a bit disappointed for a while there. What was I expecting? This is Eisuke we're talking about. The man didn't get the cold-hearted millionaire reputation for nothing, though with what he had shown me last night and this morning, the 'cold' part was totally a sham.

Then again, how would I know? He was the first man I've....

Blood creeped up from my neck to my cheeks.

Remembering how he was with his other women, I realized I should be grateful.

He did spare me the embarrassing morning-after.

For I would never have known what to do or say to him if I did wake up with him still here, on bed, with me, and for that man to be him was enough to make me believe everything hadn't been real.

But the soreness in my limbs remind me quite vividly how he'd made love to me, and propping myself up on my elbows, I caught a glimpse of myself in the wide mirror that encompassed one side of the wall.

Hair dishevelled and redness tainting my cheeks, my naked shoulders gleaming in the sunlight... I would never have recognized the change in me. I look different and yet somehow the same, how could being with him make this possible?

This girl just made love to Eisuke Ichinomiya, I told my reflection with a grin.

"Okay, sweetie, I know you're in heaven right now, but will you stop admiring yourself and come with me?"

"What?! Honey!" I shrieked and covered more of myself as I turned around from the mirror and faced her, sitting upright on the bed. Honey's eyes were twinkling, and there was a mischievous smile on her lips as she stood with her arms crossed by the bedroom door.

"Well the King specifically warned me not to bother your... er, beauty sleep, but, you know I don't follow orders from anyone," she said with a wink.

I realized my mouth was still gaping open as I stared up at her. "Okay, wait. Can you just please wait for me outside?" I looked around the room. Where the hell are my clothes?

Honey giggled exaggeratedly. "They're in the living room, sweetie."

Goodness, of course they are, I groaned inwardly, seeing the living room for the first time.

"Thought a tornado struck Tokyo while I was asleep," Honey teased. "Wonder why it only struck this suite, though."

"Miss..." I pleaded, unable to bear her teasing any longer. This is super embarrassing.

"Oh, Satine! This is so wonderful!" Honey jumped to the bed and now she's hugging me! Oh my goodness, this woman...

"Miss, I'm naked..."

"Of course, you are, silly." She beamed down at me and I gripped the covers tightly. "I hope he was gentle, though." Her voice was stern all of a sudden.

She's not going to let me get away with it, I panicked.

She was waiting for an answer, her eyes looking back and forth from the chaos that was the living room and me, and I don't know why her serene expression scared me so I nodded.

She looked into my eyes as if searching for the truth and after a long while she nodded, and for a few seconds I couldn't help but feel she was looking right through me and decided I was lying. "Good." Seemingly satisfied, she bobbed her head a little though her eyes still gleamed like she wasn't totally buying it.
