"Satine, would you like to go to dinner with us?"
"How can she hear you, sweetie, you're whispering?"
"You do it, then," Honey hissed and tapped her foot behind him.
Baba knocked louder than usual. "Satine. Satine, sweetie, come out or I swear I will shower you with unwanted affection."
Honey laughed despite herself, pushing him away from the door but Baba didn't budge. "You are incorrigible, Baba!"
"Stubborn brat, isn't she?" Mamoru called out.
"Come on, keep knocking," Honey urged. "She probably was just shocked with... With what she learned..." She pouted, hands on her hips as she looked back at the figures at the lounge. "Whose idea is it anyway, getting her to whip that scumbag?"
Baba shushed her at once. "Boss did."
"I swear," she mumbled to herself, glaring at Eisuke who was drinking by the bar, Soryu on a seat next to him engrossed in the documents he had brought from the headquarters. Honey turned to knocking again but the door of the guest room remained close and giving up they both returned to the lounge.
"She's not there," Eisuke intoned from the bar.
"That information would've been useful ten minutes ago," Honey said scowling at him.
"You didn't ask."
"Ugh." She grabbed the glass in his hand and gulped the wine in it. "So where is she?"
"With Ota."
"Don't get her drunk, Eisuke," Soryu raised his head from the documents he was perusing and warned Eisuke when the latter poured her another glass.
"Your boyfriend's jealous," Eisuke said and Baba snickered.
"I'm not. She's just a handful everytime you guys decide to go on a drinking spree," Soryu replied coolly.
"How is her sleeping, by the way?" Eisuke asked.
Soryu smiled slightly. "Apparently she couldn't sleep whenever we're out of Tokyo."
"I did say you're whacked, kid," Mamoru said teasing, joining in the conversation.
"I can hear you, you know," Honey's stern tone was in constract to the tender smile, and Soryu smiled tenderly back at her, his hand automatically reached out to wipe the trace of wine off her mouth.
Honey still looked troubled, though. "Do you think she's angry with us?"
"You're so bothered, sweetie," Baba piped in.
Eisuke tuned out to whatever was Honey's reply to Baba's observation; his mind replaying his conversation with the girl earlier as the limo drove them away from the warehouse.
"If you found him, you must've found Rino, too."
He nodded.
"Where is he?"
"Mamoru locked him away even before we reached his father."
"Where exactly?"
"Why do you want to know?" He asked, annoyed that she doesn't look angry; she actually looked genuinely concerned.
"I want to see him, Sir."
"No." He said firmly.
"I'll find a way, then."
He stared at her but her eyes didn't waver, meeting his gaze head-on.
The young man she spoke of was, he had to admit, not badlooking and that she seemed so interested fueled him to the point of anger, something he couldn't understand.
In the end he relented and took her to the jailhouse where the police was holding the lad. Satine went out of the limo to see him, but to his surprise she was back again in a few minutes, eyes streaked with tears.
