Contains Lot of Spoilers:
I was not sure how I will feel about this book when I started and had more angst than I would personally prefer but glad I stuck to it and finished reading it. Lot of homophobic content and some domestic violence and bullying content so just be careful. Everyone character is flawed so it makes it more human and relatable in some sense. When you are surrounded by people who might not accept you for who you are and bully you, it is hard to express oneself and that might end up making us chose a path which isn't healthy and good for us but each character's choices in different stages of the story shows us that. Tae makes so many mistakes and things which we can't forgive but at the same time, for someone who went through abuse and was pressured, his response seems appropriate. Tae takes time to realize who he is and what he wants and his character growth and learning from the mistake and changing oneself and learning to be better is a good lesson in this. Kook made mistakes in someway too and he learnt from it. For a person who is 16/17 and wants to do everything for person you like and tolerating anything and giving a lot of chances and then standing up for yourself and learning to realize what is good for you or not is what Kook character teaches us. One think missing for me was wish there was more chapters to see character growth of others and to see what happens with taekook families. May be author can write a small sequel? :D :D :D
