Roman had been up longer then he'd like to admit. In fact, if he hadn't been cooed to sleep by his lover, Patton, he would have gone two days without sleeping. It wasn't his fault. It's not like he wanted to stay up for that long, but he had gotten so distracted and stressed about making a video idea for Thomas that was at least decent, it had kinda just... slipped from his mind. So even if he wanted to work on his idea more, he was glad Patton managed to get him to sleep, as he felt much better, but he was still drowsy and barely half asleep.
The prince, after finally managing to get out of the moral side's bed, didn't bother to change out of his white tank top or long, red pajama pants. And when he stumbled downstairs while trying to wipe the sleepiness from his eyes, he saw that his boyfriend hadn't either.
Patton, with his messy and curly light brown hair, was still in what he had gone to bed in the night prior. Fluffy and soft, light blue pajama pants that were just a bit too long for him and a loose-fitting black shirt. He was standing in front of the stove, humming to himself just louder enough to be heard over the sound of sizzling, and only when Roman got closer could he properly see what he was doing. The shorter male was making breakfast for them, pancakes and bacon, and God did it smell good.
Roman, since Patton failed to notice his appearance, took the opportunity to sneak up behind him and rest his head on his shoulder, wrapping his arms around his chest from other his arms. This, in turn, should have made Patton jump in surprise, but as soon as he had felt a head on his shoulder, he'd known who it was. Not only because he knew Virgil would still be asleep, and Logan had already gotten up and gotten breakfast, but the gesture was so familiar, it warmed his heart each time.
"Good morning, love." Patton cooed sweetly to Roman, reaching up with his free hand to give a few pets to his boyfriend's messy hair before returning it to holding the pan of bacon in front of him. "Sleep well?"
Roman grumbled in response, leaning his head so he could bury his neck into the side's neck, but only after kissing his cheek. "It smells good... You're such a good cook..." He murmured sleepily, making the moral side's smile turn more adoring.
Patton softly laughed, pink flushing on his cheeks after his Roman's quick kiss. "Well, you're in luck, because it's all just for you and me today." He said, leaning his head to rest on top of his. "Then, to make sure you're all rested up before going to work more for that amazing idea I saw again, we're gonna cuddle and watch any Disney movie you want. Is that okay?"
The prince hummed in content with a smile at the idea, admittedly very happy with the idea. Sure, he wanted to go work on his little project for a while, but the thought of cuddling with Patton... "...You have to give me lots of kisses, too." He said, pulling back just enough to be able to properly look down at him.
The other side smiled, leaning up to press a gentle kiss to Roman's lips. "Of course I will." He quietly said. "As many as you want."
Roman softened at the words, feeling his chest fill up with love so much it hurt. "Pat..."
"Yes, RoRo?"
"...Your pancakes are burning."
"Oh, shoot!"
