- Shit! - Tita said, seeing it was Marcus's mother who was calling - I told your mother I would get you to go dinner, which was like fifteen minutes ago.
- Ah, don't worry. I bet she's just calling to know where we wanna go eat - he commented, trying to look chill.
In fact, he was not chill at all, since he was about to express his feelings for the girl. Since last week, so much had happened when he was still afraid to catch feels for the girl. After his talk with Lundgaard, he started to understand his feelings for the girl at the moment, and the more he talked to Tita, the more he felt like falling in love. And now he was ready to tell her about it.
- Ok, so I just told your mother we'll be there in minutes. - Tita said after hanging up - They still want to stop by the hotel, so I can leave my things and maybe take a shower, if you don't mind.
"Another time, I guess" he thought.
- Of course, we should get going. - was the only thing Marcus answered, making his way to the garage to pick some stuff he left and rejoining the girl.
On the other hand, Tita was sort of relieved for being interrupted by her phone ringing. She was almost sure she knew what Marcus was going to tell her and she didn't know if she was ready to listen to it. It was not like she had some trauma with old boyfriends or something; she had a few, two more serious, but nothing like a major heartbreak or something. The thing with Marcus was that she was afraid things were rushed. She was liking to talk to him but if he was going to say something like "I love you" she was not ready, at all, to say it back. She was still in the "enjoy" zone.
NA: I feel like this one is a bit shorter but maybe it's because it has less dialogues.
Anyways, here it is!
