Marcus found the girl near his parents, when he finally got a chance to talk to them. He wasn't satisfied, at all, with the result, but the season was over and it was time to relax for a little bit, even though he had post-season testing next week. However, at that moment, he only wanted to rest.

- Here's my champ! - Rick hugged him - I'm proud of you, kiddo.

- Yeah, I'm proud too, but I'm looking forward to better results next year.

- Of course you are, Marcus, you're a fighter! - it was Angie's time to hug him - But now it's time to forget about it, and get the girl - she whispered in his ear.

Tita also congratulated him for his results through the season and then, was taken by him to a more private space. Marcus knew he didn't have much time with the girl because the prize-giving ceremonies would start soon; and decided to get straight to the point.

- Okay, so before we get interrupted, again - the girl laughed - I will say what I've been waiting to say for a while. I still remember the day you commented on my picture, reminding me of one of my best memories of my racing career. To me, that was enough to dm you that day. Since then, I've been loving to talk to you, to get to know the amazing person you are.

He paused for a little and Tita looked into his eyes, wondering around; he was a bit afraid to look at her.

- I... I love you, Matilde, and I'm afraid you won't feel the same way, because I feel like I'm the lucky one. I feel like it was a blessing that you commented on my post that day. - he looked at her, waiting for any word

-I... - she had it all figure it out in her head, but it seemed so hard to say it out loud.

- You don't have to say anything, I'm ju... Just ignore what I've said.

- Marcus - she held his hand - It's not like that, I'm just having a hard time finding the words to say. My brain works slower in english - she laughed trying to make the environment a little less heavy - I'm not ready to say those three words, but I can assure you that you've been the best thing that happened to me in the last months. Talking to you changes my day, being here makes me feel like no way I've felt in a long time.

She had much more to say, but words weren't coming easy. Marcus looked at her and understood, deciding to pop his question.

- Will you, Matilde Morales, have the pleasure to be my girlfriend? - he said, on one knee, opening an imaginary box

- Oh, Marcus! This was being serious, I was almost crying and of course you had to say something idiotic. You are the pleasured one! - she said, crossing her arms, pretending to be mad.

- Of course I am, there's no doubt about it. - he laughed - Is that a yes?

- Sure!

Marcus finally got the chance to kiss the girl he was completely falling for. If she was not ready to say I love you yet, it wasn't a problem. He would wait for her, she was special, at least to him. After a stressful weekend, he couldn't think of a better way to be right now.
