I am nothing without your touch, my love

I am nothing without your kiss

To spend each night in your arms, my flower,

Is man's idea of bliss

To not hear your voice each day is to die seven times by God's wrath

If I was anything other than human, I'd want to be the water in your bath

Prince, from Under the Cherry Moon

Eda eased into Serkan's big bathtub, her body instantly relaxing in the blissfull hot water, her tension melting away. She leaned her head against the back of the tub and closed her eyes, inhaling the perfume of the bubbles that surrounded her. "Mmm. This was a good idea." Her lips pulled into a slow smile and she took a deep breath, just letting herself forget about everything that was happening in her life right now. She was in the place that she most wanted to be, with the person she most wanted to have close to her.

When Serkan asked her to stay the night with him, even after her crazy ranting about not being able to be with him because her grandmother would split them up, she'd felt so relieved and so happy. She really wanted to just stay with him forever. She understood now why he kept asking her to run away with him; when it was just the two of them, they were so good together. Whenever anyone else got involved, everything got all confused. She just wanted to be alone with him for a while, so they could learn each other. So they could be a couple.

She sighed and opened her eyes, maybe she'd ask him to run away with her when he got back. Yes, they could run away together--go to Paris, hold hands, get lost, laugh, kiss under the Eiffel Tower. She smiled and scooped up a handful of bubbles and blew them off her hand. Yes, that's what she would do...convince him to run away.

Serkan returned to a quiet house after going to pick up his ridiculous present from Balca. He couldn't believe he had wasted the time he had with Eda to go over there and pick it up. At least Eda would get a kick out of it, anyway.

He set his gift down on the counter and looked around. "Eda?" He didn't see her downstairs, so he went up to his bedroom to see if she was there. He walked into his bedroom and, as he passed by the bathroom, he did a double take. He huffed out a laugh at what he saw. Eda was in his bathtub.

She was so lost in her thoughts, she didn't see Serkan enter the bathroom. He stood there and watched her for a moment, grinning from ear-to-ear. "Eda." He couldn't have hoped for a better scenario. He'd give anything to be the water in that bathtub.

Eda looked up at him wide-eyed and sank deeper into the bubbles.

"Are you good?" He was still smiling.

"Serkan?" She laughed nervously and Serkan's smile widened. "It hasn't been ten minutes! What are you doing back already?"

"Her house turned out to be really close." His eyes were blazing, making her heart thunder in her chest. He couldn't stop thinking about her body, wet and slippery and sweet-smelling under those bubbles.

"Hmm." She sank a little deeper under the cover of the bubbles.

"Mm hmm. You...with the candles and everything," he motioned with his hand at the ambience she'd created for herself in his bathroom, "...you're comfortable, I guess." Serkan smiled his lopsided smile and raised his eyebrows.

"Mm hmm. I thought I'd take a bath..." she looked away because he wouldn't. She was mortified at being caught in his tub. She had fully planned to be out by the time he got back, but it seemed he had taken her ten-minute warning seriously. She knew he was enjoying this and she had to try to stop herself from smiling. He was such a rascal...her rascal.
