Just FYI...I don't know anything about cars. LOL. Just know, it stalled and it won't start again. haha

Serkan exhaled loudly, clearly annoyed, and slammed the hood of Eda's jeep closed. "I can't believe I let you talk me into agreeing to drive into the middle of nowhere in this hunk of junk. I think it's the alternator. There's no way we can fix it. Really, this is unbelievable."
He looked at his watch, and Eda wanted to rip his arm off and throw it into the forest for the wolves to eat.
She narrowed her eyes at him. "Your tiny little penis envy car doesn't have snow tires, and Dayı does. I'd just gotten him checked out and he was fine," she said defiantly. "He's just temperamental, that's all."
"Great. We drove into the mountains, in the snow, in a temperamental car. Now we're stranded, there's no cell signal, and it's getting dark. This is fantastic. I really must have suffered brain damage to have put myself in this situation." Serkan rolled his eyes and put his hands on his hips, looking down at her, trying to intimidate her. "And it's not my fault that we had to come out here in the first place!"
Eda refused to let him bully her. She stepped closer to him, her face inches from his. "It is your fault, because you put Erdem in charge of communicating with this client, and he's the one who forgot to tell us she needed us to meet him at her place, which is miles and miles from civilization, and that today was the last day she'd be in town!"
Serkan leaned in even closer, so close Eda could smell him, and she closed her eyes against the feelings his scent provoked in her--she could feel his hands on her, the way his skin felt under her lips, the way him filling her was the most exquisite feeling she'd ever felt. She missed him. She missed him and she wanted him back and all of this was so unfair and so frustrating she just wanted to scream and cry and rage.
Serkan hesitated for a second before he continued to yell at her--she looked unwell, like she was dizzy. He looked at her face, the way her eyelids fluttered and her eyebrows drew together like she was in pain, and he worried that something was wrong. But she opened her eyes and they were so dark they were almost black. He thought she really must be angry with him--but, god, she was so sexy. He wanted to pull her against his body and kiss her beautiful mouth until every memory of her came flooding back, until he remembered what it was like to be hers. He knew she was in his head somewhere; he'd seen so many flashes of her, but every time he had a memory, he pushed it down and brushed it off. The feelings she gave him were too intense, too much, and he didn't know how to handle them.
He pulled himself together and went on with his irrational and pointless ranting--he was just being contrary to push her further away at this point. He exaggerated his heartlessness and his robotic tendencies to make her think he didn't want her, when he really had never wanted anything more and he didn't understand why. "I put Erdem in charge of this because it's not a project I ever would have taken because it's not worth my time!"
"That's because you're a heartless jerk, Serkan Bolat!" Eda's eyes were wide, her chest rose and fell with her breaths, and he could feel the anger radiating off of her. They glared at each other, neither one of them willing to back down.
Eda shivered visibly, and Serkan noticed. Eda hadn't planned to make this trip today, and she wasn't dressed for it. She was wearing a skirt suit and heels. She had on a jacket, but it wasn't warm enough for the colder weather in the mountains. "You're cold," he said, his voice warm, his eyes softening. He shrugged off his coat without a second's hesitation and draped it over her shoulders. "Put your arms in, Eda."
She obeyed him without thinking. She was so confused; he was giving her whiplash with his hot and cold behavior and she was so tired.
Serkan rubbed his hands up and down her arms over his coat unconsciously; taking care of her was second nature. She looked up at him in disbelief and a tear slid slowly down her cheek. He reached up and cupped her cheek, his thumb swiping her tear away. He realized what he was doing and he drew back. He cleared his throat. "Umm...it's going to be dark soon. We can't risk walking to find help. We will have to wait for someone to pass by. Worst case, we have to spend the night here in the car and walk to the nearest house in the morning."
