Julie's POV:

I came home and rushed to the studio. I need to tell the guys about the dinner at Bobby's. Luke was not going to like it. I opened the doors to the studio and was immediately greeted by all three guys, who were in the middle of some argument about pasta? They can be such idiots sometimes. They all look up and immediately ask me to join in on their sides of the argument.

"Julie please tell Alex that rotini noodles are the best!" Reggie says, whining.

"No, tell Reggie, that penne noodles are the best." Alex says.

"Guys, clearly spaghetti noodles are best. Tell them, Julie." Luke interjects, looking over at me for support.

I giggle. "Sorry, Reg, sorry Alex, but Luke is right." He pumps his fist into the air in victory. "Spaghetti noodles are the most universal, and they're the basis for all other noodles."

"THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAID!" Luke shouts, jumping up from the couch and running over to me, wrapping his arm over my shoulders. Luckily he was holding on to me because I almost fell backward from him coming crashing into me. "Julie's the only one in the band with any common sense." He says, and I giggle.

A/N: soulmate tings :P

"Hey, that's not fair! You're only agreeing with Luke because he's your boyfriend!" Reggie shouts, catching both me and Luke off guard, making us stumble backward a little bit.

I can feel my face getting hot and I know I'm blushing. "Wh- whatttt?? Me and Luke are just friends." I say nervously, looking at Luke for backup.

"Yeah, sure." Alex says, laughing, Reggie snickering behind him.

"Guys, chill out. Julie and I's relationship is totally platonic. Right, Jules?" He says, taking his arm from around me and putting it into his pocket.

"Ye- yeah totally." I say, trying to hide my disappointment. I mean, I know it would never work, but it's a little sad to hear that Luke only sees me as a friend. I thought we had a connection, but I guess not.

"Um, I actually have something to tell you guys. Bobby's daughter, Carrie, invited me to dinner at their house, and I think he knows about you guys." I say, watching their smiles shrink.

"What, how would he know? He's never seen us perform?" Luke asks, puffing up his chest.

"Yeah, he did. He came to our performance at the Orpheum, and Carrie said he wanted the congratulate me. But I don't think there will be many congratulations involved in that conversation.

"Well sorry but you're just going to have to tell that Larry girl that you can't go." Luke says. That's it.

"How can you never get names right? Her name is Carrie and I'm going. You aren't the boss of me. I was only telling you because I thought you all could be mature and come talk to Bobby tonight. But I guess you guys just can't let anything go." I say, finally snapping from Luke's comment earlier. I storm out and go to my room, slamming the studio doors behind me.

Luke's POV:

"What was that about?" I ask, confused. Julie rarely snapped at us, so I didn't know why she was getting so mad.

"Oh, I don't know Luke, maybe you just told your literal soulmate that your feelings for her are just platonic when we know they aren't?" Alex says angrily.

"What are you talking about?" I say, flustered. I was just trying to get the guys to shut up, they knew I really cared about Julie. Alex looks so mad, like he's going to blow up.
