I arrived home, grabbing the bag of chips and beers I bought earlier. I still couldn't get that girl off my mind, its weird. I opened the door, setting all of the things on the table. "hey em? Im home." No sign of anybody anywhere. I looked into averys room, as she was sound asleep. I kissed her forehead, smiling. Her eyes fluttered open, and she smiled. "hi daddy." She said stretching. "hi kitten. Have you seen your mommy?" she stood up, "shes with the man the brings us pizza." I gave her a confused look, "im sorry? What?" she rubbed her eyes, "you know, mike. That man that brings us pizza." I shook my head, "mommy said it was time for me to go to bed, even though its really early. She said she needs to talk to mike." I looked at her in disbelief. She couldn't be cheating on me, could she? "just wait here baby, ill be right back." She nodded, playing with her stuffed unicorn. I walked to our room, "oh yes, mike oh yes faster." Oh fuck. No, nonono no she cant be! I just felt my whole world crumble down. I felt sad, beyond sad, but that sadness went away, and just anger was flowing through my veins. I kicked the door down, and there she was. A man sweating over my Emily. I walked to the bed, and threw the guy off of her. "who. The. Fuck. Are. You." I spat. I looked at Emily, she had guilt written all over her face. I didn't wait for an answer, I got on him and started throwing punches. Emily started screaming for me to stop, but I didn't give a fuck. I kept punching and punching until Emily finally pulled me off of him. She tried to hug me, but I pushed her away. "Emily, how the fuck can you do this to me?! What the fuck is your problem?!" she looked out the window, ignoring my yells. "LOOK AT ME!" my voice was cracking, tears rushing down my face. "who the fuck are you?" the guy raised his hands, "i-im mike. Mike Fuentes." I shook my head, "t-tone?" I gave him a pissed look, "put your fucking clothes on, and get the hell out of my house." I said pointing towards the door. He did as he was told, I heard the door close. And I looked at Emily, she was guilty, I know she was. "how long." I asked looking at the window. "tony baby im sorry I ju-" I stopped her midsentence. "answer the fucking question." I spat. She mumbled something, "I cant fucking hear you." She pulled the covers over her arms. "f-five years.." that, was when my heart broke. Into a billion little pieces. A million questions ran through my head, but there was one that I had to ask. "is avery mine?" there was sincerity in my voice, I looked at her, and saw tears falling down her cheeks. She shook her head, a huge wave of sadness came over me. "w-wow.. Emily. Just, fucking perfect. Fuck you and your fucking fuck buddy." She tried touching my arm but I pulled away from her, "I, I cant be here." I said walking out of the room, "where are you going tony?" Emily yelled, "where ever the fuck I want to go. We are done Emily. Im taking avery with me." I said walking away. "when I come back, I want you and your shit out of this house." I went into averys room, she was playing with her barbies, "hi daddy. Did you go talk to mommy?" I nodded, smiling at her. "hey kitten, how about we go out for vacation?" her face brightened up, "yes! Can we go to the zoo daddy?" I nodded, "of course kitten." I got her suitcase, and packed all of the things she would need, clothes, underwear, toothbrush, etc. I grabbed my things I would need, and walked to the car. I put avery in her carseat, watching Emily from the doorway. She walked up to me, "tony, we can work things out! Im sorry okay! im so sorry! I love you!" I looked at her, I was in love with this woman. I almost gave in, I pulled my arm from her grip, "you better be out by the time I come back." I spat, turning on the car and driving away. I had no idea where I was going. I decided to stop and stay at a hotel, I checked in, grabbing avery and settling in to our room. "daddy? Can I watch cartoons?" I nodded, turning on the tv for her. I layed with her, watching spongebob. She looked up at me, and kissed my cheek. "I love you daddy." She closed her eyes, falling asleep. I kissed her forehead, pushing her hair out of her face. I still had a lot of thinking to do. She was sound asleep, I knew she wouldn't wake up till morning. I walked out of the room quietly, not waking her up. I saw a random path that led to a forest, so I went that way. I didn't know where I was going, i just went and hoped for the best. It all seemed so familiar to me, its like what ive dreamed about. I walked into the forest, and I started remembering things, I remember bringing the red haired girl here. I started remembering little by little, I knew her name started with an 'a'. I arrived at an abandoned bridge. Then it hit me. Like a fucking train. I remembered everything, I remembered amber, I remembered vic and Jaime, and mike. Mike you fucking whore. I remembered falling off the bridge. I saw something red sitting at the edge of the bridge, "a-amber." I whispered. I ran onto the bridge, Picking amber up and hugging her. "what the fuck? Who are you?" amber yelled. I let her go, and looked into her eyes. I felt tears well up in my eyes, and tears started falling down her cheeks. She ran into my arms, hugging me hard. " I knew it, I knew it. I knew you were alive." She kept on repeating. I kissed her, and bam, there it was. The sparks, the little butterflies in my stomach, everything. I knew I had felt happier at one point, and this is the point.
