I arrived at work, late obviously. Thank god my boss wasn't there because I cant afford to be late again. I walked to my room, looking at all of my appointments for today. It wasn't much, just around 5 people. "hey am?" Ashley (my secretary) yelled. "whats up?" she brought out a phone, "you're 2'o'clock appointment needs to cancel, but wants to reschedule." I nodded grabbing the phone. "amber speaking." holding the phone between my shoulder and my ear. The man started speaking, and he sounded, so familiar. I swear, he sounded just like, no, amber. You went over this, Tony. Is. Dead. "hello, um, I was just wondering if I could reschedule. I got called into work today, and I cant do it today. What about tomorrow?" I looked at my appointment book, "Friday, hmm. Im not going to be in tomorrow, but what about Saturday?" i just couldn't comprehend what was going on. He sounded SO much like tony. It was uncanny. "oh yeah, that is perfect. Thanks." The phone clicked, which left me wondering what the fuck was going on. I shrugged it off, continuing with my day. It was pretty slow most of the day, but thank god I could finally go home. I called vic, letting him know I was going to pick up some clothes for me and sky, then ill be on my way. "oh yeah. That's perfect. Let girls night begin." I rolled my eyes, "okay vic." I smiled, vic is always trying to help. "oh no sky put that down!" Crash! It sounded like something glass fell. "for fucks sake. Woman, hurry your ass up." I laughed, and hung up the phone. I arrived home, grabbing clothes for sky and i. Along with some booze. I got all the things I need, and drove off to vics house. I practically have my own key for the house so I just go in. I see sky and Jaime playing super Mario bros, and it was obvious that sky was winning. "woooww hime, way to go. A 5 year old is beating you." He flipped me off, returning back to the game. "wooo! I win again! Momma! I beat uncle hi-me." I smiled, picking him up, "that's great baby." I saw vic come out of the laundry room, with a basket full of laundry. "oh shit vic, I forgot to ask you, do you want me to bring some snacks for tonight?" vic nodded, "whats tonight?" Jaime asked putting the game away, "girls night!" vic yelled from the room "LIKE HELL WE NEED YOU TO BRING SNACKS THAT IS NOT EVEN A QUESTION WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU" I shook my head laughing, "alright alright I get it, ill be back in a bit. Wanna come turtle?" skylar nodded, running towards the door. "heres a list babe, basically all we need is a lot of booze and junkfood." I nodded, grabbing the list. "Vic no what is your problem haven't you ever heard of carbs?" vic and I looked at Jaime in disbelief, "what? Im trying to watch my weight." I rolled my eyes, "ill be back in a bit. Lets go little buddy." I put him in his carseat, and turned on the radio. Skylar was looking out the window, sometimes I wonder whats going on through that little boys mind. We arrived at the store, I grabbed a basket and checked the list, "alright, we need some candy." Skylars face lit up, "can I gets a lollipop momma?" he gave me his puppy dog face, "of course baby. Go pick out which one you want." He let go of me, running to the lollipop aisle. I looked at the dollar candies, gummy worms, chocolates, damn there was so much candy to choose from. I was there for about 5 minutes, I couldn't decide so I just grabbed most of them. "alright sky, lets go." I said, wait, wheres sky? "skylar?" I yelled. Holy crap, I just lost my kid. Nononononono! I looked around the aisles, trying to find him. Someone tapped on my shoulder, and I turned, and my heart almost stopped. He had skylars hand in his, skylar eating his lollipop. "looking for this?" he said, holding skys hand up. I nodded, pulling skylar into a hug. "don't ever scare mommy like that again." Skylar nodded, "im sorry mommy. But I saw this turtle toy, and I wanted it. I smiled, "thank you, sosososo much for finding my little boy. I almost had a heart attack." He smiled, "no its okay, I have a little girl so, I know how it feels." holy crap, this mans voice, ive heard it before. But no, it cant be. Not only is tony dead, but, tony had gauges and long hair, along with a piercing on his cheek. This man had his hair short, he didn't have gauges, and no tattoos. Well, not that I know of. He is wearing a jacket so, im not particularly sure. I thanked him once more, and continued on with my search. I put skylar in the cart so he wouldn't get lost. He was playing with the turtle he found while he went missing. I got all of my things, and went to go pay. And of course, the man was in front of us. "oh, you can go in front of me." I shook my head, "no its okay, you were here first." I said motioning towards the checker. "come on, I insist." I shrugged, going in front of him. "woooww, that is a lot of junkfood. Party im assuming?" I nodded, "more of a girls night." He mouthed an "o", I payed for my things, as he put a 6 pack and some chips on the counter. "oh no, let me get this. It's the least I can do." He shook his head, "no its okay. I got it." He said pulling his wallet out of his pocket. "no. it's the least I can do after you helped me find my son." I payed for his things, and we went on our way. "so, thanks. You really didn't have too." I gave him a smile, "oh no its fine. I don't mind." He nodded, "hey little man, stay with your mommy now, you hear? We don't need to give her any more heart attacks." Skylar nodded, and waved bye to the man."wait! you forgot this." the man was holding up the turtle sky was playing with. Sky thanked him, as we walked away. I put sky in his car seat, and put the things in the trunk. I started thinking about the man, he reminded me so much of tony, then, it hit me, tonys body was never found. He could have changed his looks, its been 5 years. Holy crap. I need to tell vic and Jaime.
