♡˗ˏ✎ Let's be honest, the word "said" is too overrated. All other writing tip books probably said this before but I still see people use this in their stories. Using "said" here and there, isn't wrong but using it too frequently will make it sound boring and dull. Most people actually ignore the word "said". Like if it's invisible to their eyes. An example of this is;
"Fuck you." She said.
Just by that, you don't feel anything from that certain phrase. You don't know if she feels annoyed or something like that. If you're going to use "said", At least, put something to show emotion.
"Fuck you." She bluntly said.
But if you really want to avoid using the word "said", here are some words to replace it.

✎ smiled, cheered, laughed, joked, gleamed, beamed, smiled, giggled, smirked, rejoiced, praised, chimed, celebrated, grinned, snickered.↳ ❝ [ TEASINGLY ] ❞
✎ cooed, mocked, taunted, sang, provoked, pestered↳ ❝ [ ANGRILY ] ❞
✎ screamed, yelled, raged, barked, hissed, grumbled, growled, ranted, seethed, retorted, fumed↳ ❝ [ SADLY ] ❞
✎ sobbed, cried, whimpered, mourned, wailed, muttered sadly, agonized.↳ ❝ [ CASUALLY ] ❞
✎ stated, spoke, commented, remarkedThere are many more words to use to replace said, but I can't name them all. If you want to know words, search the synonyms of the certain words I wrote there since I usually do that when I am having problems in thinking of certain words.
