"During the crossing it occurred to me that by wearing green spectacles and changing my coat I could quite well spend two or three days at Volterra, going out only at night and without being recognized by you" (Stendhal, letter to Matilde Dembowski)
Kaguya ran a hand through her hair as she looked at the gates across the street from her. It was so much easier now to do so in one easy swoop, her hair so short it barely tickled her neck. Some part of her was not a fan, but the new cut seemed to fit her athletic lifestyle a lot better--not that she was planning on the hair staying short for long. In fact, she'd really feel much better about this whole situation if she knew anything, but currently she had no idea how long this would last, let alone how long contacts on her enhanced eyes would be necessary, to say she was bothered as she crossed the street with a nervous smile on her face was putting it lightly. Just how exactly did she even get into this situation in the first place?

"Well it's not often someone gets a call from the big guy himself. He's got the funds and the authority to get you whatever you want, I'm just going to be the pawn that gets you there in this case." An older grey haired man leaned back in his desk chair, grinning confidently despite the missing tooth in his smile. He adjusted his glasses ceaselessly though, a clear sign to Kaguya that he was much more nervous than his casual demeanor let on. She assumed it was fair though, not only did she have All for One's backing, but the two body guards stationed outside the room wouldn't be able to do much against her, and they all were aware of that fact. "So, does everything seem in order?"
Kaguya looked down at the file in her hands, inside was an entire 15 years of a life that didn't actually exist, complete with forged documents and school pictures that made even herself doubt it wasn't a living, breathing teenage girl. She hummed from underneath her mask, not the usual gas mask but instead just a normal black one as if she were ill. Her glowing eyes in the lowlight of his office landed on him, her hyperawareness noticing the nervous swallow from the movement of his adam's apple. "Yes, this will do just fine. Your payment will be wired shortly."
She stood easily, putting her coat back on from the back of her chair. Giran opened his mouth to say something else, most likely asking her to put in a good word with her master, but all it took was a single glance from her cold eyes to have him sitting back in his chair. She left without saying anything else and just like that, Mika Kuroishi was born.

"Alriiiiiight!! Hello little listeners!!! Can I get a hey?!!!" The silence that followed allowed Kaguya to collect her wits momentarily, at least enough to remind herself to keep a slightly interested look on her face as though she actually wanted to be here, in this school, within 500ft of a single hero let alone a whole staff full.
She paid a decent amount of attention to the rules, however instead of the people around her vying for a spot in the famed hero course, Kaguya was aiming for a slightly lower goal. Getting into the school would be plenty, getting where she wanted to without being watched would be the problem. Her eyes darkened imperceptibly as she thought of the past--yes, it would be much easier to move freely if people assumed you weak, useless, yet kind and helpful, especially to the other end of the spectrum.
The boy next to her leaned over, Kaguya acting as though she didn't notice until he politely tapped on her shoulder with a slightly confused look. "Hi, sorry to bother you with this but I really couldn't make any sense of what he said. Do you know where I'm supposed to be going?"
Looking briefly at his spikes of black hair reminded her to push her long black bangs out of her own eyes, putting on an encouraging smile as she leaned in closer to look at his card. "Sure, just let me take a look!"
The boy watched expectantly as her blue eyes scanned over the card, taking in a lot more than just his battle center, not that he had the thought to notice. 'Kirishima Eijirou...' "It looks like you're in center B! If you go past the A bus outside you should be fine!"
"Thank you! You're a lifesaver! I'm Kirishima by the way."
"I'm Kuroishi. Nice to meet you, but we better get going! Hope to see you at school!" With that she jogged off to find her own bus, it'd be taking her to center E where she could hopefully keep up her act long enough to score a spot in General Studies.

"A lot of very promising students this year." A mouse spoke up from his seat cheerily, his eyes fixed between a panting boy with blonde hair and a green haired boy practically splattered on the asphalt. "I don't think I've ever seen someone take down one of the gimmicks that well."
A black haired man huffed in agreement, clearly not all that happy at the score of rescue points the reckless kid had received. If nothing else the boy would be gotten rid of on day one to do the kid a favor. His eyes trained back on a black haired girl that was seen leaving the battle center with a mass of other students. Her slumped shoulders, quaking fists, it told him everything he needed to know about what happened leading up to her small rescue closer to the end of the time. She'd frozen up and was regretting it now that things were over, she might make General Studies depending on her test scores, but he almost preferred that over letting the green haired boy slide into the hero course on a technicality. It was better, if you knew you wouldn't be able to keep fighting, to stop while you were ahead, before your future is crushed along with your dreams.

"Well, I got in, that is for certain, but what the actual fuck am I supposed to be doing dressed like this?" Kaguya held the edge of the green skirt with only two fingers as though touching it burned her.
"It seems not all that different from what you would have worn in Junior High...but in any case, you're being planted at UA to confirm the rumors of All Might's teaching, which you have from the hologram, and then be on the inside to learn of plans and occasions that we can use against him." Kaguya let out a huff at his nonchalance, the school uniform truthfully wasn't all that different from what she usually wore. The problem she had was that the skirt was noticeably shorter and the color was not on her list of favorites, two big issues for someone who already didn't want to be somewhere.
"I get that part, but why me? There's plenty of brainwashable teenagers out there, or ones that are willing to do something for some extra cash. Putting me in there is an extra risk when I should be here, acting on Tomura's behalf."
"That's exactly what you are doing." The boy huffed from next to her, though she was refusing to acknowledge the man child playing Mario kart while she had to attend a school for the first time in practically a year. "Besides, the faster you make a discovery that can lead to a good plan, the faster we kill All Might. And the faster we kill All Might, the faster you can go back to wearing black and moping around this place till the sun sets. So stop complaining and go charm a teacher or something."
Her eye twitched at his comments, but Kaguya just sighed heavily instead of actually starting a fight that had the potential to make her late. "Kurogiri, the usual alleyway please, I'll probably be late if I take the train."
The man nodded easily and opened a portal, Kaguya throwing up her middle finger at Tomura while she walked through, the man having just got the chance to see it before she disappeared. Needless to say he'd be pissed by the time she got back, but that would be Kaguya's problem and for the next few hours at least, she was Mika.
I've done some preliminary sketches of both sides of Kaguya that are now here but im way too lazy to try and get the digital file into a format that wattpad likes so they'll be waiting until next chapter (if someone actually reminds my dumbass)
