Author's POV

Slade watched the girls interact with each other. The way Shado had her arms around Felicity was slowly driving him mad. When Shado whispered in Felicity's ear, Slade saw her kiss her. His mind twisting the events in front of him. As he watched the girls walk outside he grabbed the small bag hanging from Felicity's rucksack. The needles seemed to draw in Slade as he read the label. "Mirakuru! No way!" He muttered before taking a needles and injecting himself with the drug. He wobbled a little before taking another syringe. After 3 empty syringes he felt his body react quicker and quicker to the drug that was now flooding his system. His petty anger turning into rage as Shado took the bags off of the counter. "Where are you going?" He asked; and she shot him a look. "No where babe!" She said and walked outside. He followed her and saw her hugging Felicity. "Come on Hummingbird!" Shado whispered before Slade shouted "Enough!" The girls looked at him and Felicity's eyes locked on the empty needles still held on Slade's hand.

"Shad he has the mirakuru!" Felicity whispered as she slowly took her bag from Shado's grip. "You have went to far this time Shado!" Slade yelled before he stepped forward. "Run!" Felicity said as she grabbed a hold of Shado's hand; dragging her away from Slade who was now chasing them.

Felicity's POV

The air seemed thicker as we ran away from Slade. He was fast, but heavier then both me and Shado. Our agility helping us as we ran through the trees and in small rivers to get away from Slade. He was close behind us, but we were still spaced out by around 150 meters. "This way!" I whispered and pulled on Shado's hand; leading her to the right where I knew that the smaller you were, the better. "Shado!" His deep gravily voice boomed and we were surprised that it stayed as quite ad it did.

"He's catching up Fell!" Shado whimpered as she ran beside me. She was carrying more weight and I took a bag from her. I slipped it onto my back and continued to run; never looking back. "We have to hurry! If we make it to the river by the rocks we can slip through the small cracks there, he won't fit!" I said amd I heard her mutter a faint 'ok' as we continually ran, jumped and dodged anything in our path.

"Fell!" Shado gasped and I took another bag from her. "What's wrong?" I whimpered as my breathing started to falter. "Take the bags and I'll set an arrow!" She whispered and we quickly swapped everything around. Slade got closer to us and the gap had went from around 100 meters to around 70. "Shado!" I said and leaned back. I gripped onto her bow and pulled her along with me. "Fell!" She screamed and I instantly came to a stop. "Stop!" Slade growled and I felt like my  heart was in my throat. My eyes finding Shado's as the moon shone off them. "Go! Do it for the both of us!" She said before Slade screamed again. "Enough!"

An ear splitting crack echoed through the air and the world froze. The wind disappearing, the noise of the animals faded to nothing. My eyes frozen on Shado's as I watched that remaining spark of life in her eyes falter till it faded completely. Her body growing limp in his arms. Suddenly everything sped up as I snatched one of my arrows from my quiver. I pulled it back and let it go so fast the force behind it pushed Slade backwards. He dropped her body on the ground like she was nothing; causing me to fire 3 more arrows into him.

He staggered backwards and then fell to the ground. All my arrows hitting him in the neck. I ran to Shado and held her limp, lifeless body in my arms as the tears rolled down my cold cheeks. "No! Shado! You promised!" I whispered to her as I held her close to me. My grip tighten around her. I kissed her head in respect and then carefully layed her back on the ground. My hand fluttering over her eyes closing them; covering her now black eyes.

Anger once again flooded my system as I took Shado's dagger from her hip. I walked over to Slade and through it into his torso. The rage inside of me finally surfacing after the 6 months of hell I had already suffered. "You'll pay for this Wilson!" I spat before ripping the blade from his body. The mirakuru probably keeping him alive I knew he'd be back. I wiped of his blood using his top and slipped her dagger onto my hip. I took her arrows and anything else I could. I tore my arrows from Slade's neck and set them back in my quiver.

"I'll do it for you Shado!" I whispered before picking up her body. I walked quickly to the river and held her too me. She may be dead, but I had to be gentle. Soon the sound of rushing water hit my ears and I gently smiled. I got onto a rock amd walked into the water. The moon shining onto the water making it easy to see where I was going. I walked into a cave and lay her body on the ground of the cave before pulling meself out of the water. I picked her up again and carried her to the back of the have where an area of grass lay. I set her body down gently and felt my way around the back of the cave until I felt my foot fall from under me. The hole in the ground I fell down when Shado first brought me here. I quickly picked up her body before jumping back into the ditch. I took her leather jacket from her shoulders and my eyes skanned over it. I never did know how she kept it on good condition. I sat it down and took my bags off at put them at the top of the ditch I was still standing in.

"Im so sorry Shado!" I said quietly and sighed before climbing out of the whole where my best friend layed. "Fire! Gotta make a fire!" I whispered as I got everything I needed. I blew on the small sparks and soon it turned into a flame that warmed my skin. The flames flickered and danced as they light up a small part of the cave. "I need to get out of here!" I said and stoof up with me bow and arrows. I stepped to the edge of the Rock ledge before slipping softly into the water that went to my waist.

I worked my way to the outside of the cave and kept myself close to the rocks. I heard a twig snap and I instantly froze. My breathing stopped and my bow loaded and ready. I heard something go into the water and when they moved, I moved so I Wass hidden more. Soon a women came into view. Her hair blonde amd she had no mask on. She was alone amd searching around. I recognised her, like it was deja vu but I couldn't place when. My past before the island fading after every day. I still remembered Thea, and Moira, and most importantly Oliver. My hand worked it's way to my neck and I felt the for the ring I had been wearing for a year before the boat went down.

"Felicity?" A voice broke my concentration and my head shot to see the women looking at me. She was closer now and then I saw who it really was. "Sara? What are you doing here?" I asked and I put my loaded bow away and put the arrow back in the quiver. "I could ask you the same question!" She said back; smiling slightly. "Let's get out of the water!" I said and she nodded following me back into the cave.
