Felicity POV
****5 Months****
"Felicity! Behind you!" Shado's voice traveled through the shouts and clangs of metal. I turned only to duck just as a soilder swung for me. I slid his feet out from under him as I slid across the wet ground. "Shado!" I shouted and she ran for me. "Where's Slade?" I asked and screamed as someone wrapprd their arms around me. "Shado!" I screamed and she took out the soilder behind me with her bow. We fell to the ground; his body landing on top of me. "Kiddo!" Shades voice boomed around us as he threw the body off me. He helped me up while Shado took the last soilder out. "Thanks!" I said and he nodded. "Shado we need to go!" Slade said and pulled both and and Shado along with him.
"Did you get it?" Shado asked and I nodded. "Back pocket!" I said and she nodded. "Hurry up girls, haven't got all day!" Slade said and smiled slightly as he walked into the plane. "Who is getting patched up first?" I asked her and he smirked. "You!" "I'm always first!" "Your always yhe one that gets the most hurt!" She said back and we laughed as she pushed me into the plane. "Kiddo, come 'ere!" Slade said and Shado stood beside me as I saw Robert leaning against the wall. "Rob?" I whispered and he coughed. "I think he's poisned Kiddo! But I don't know how long he has left!" He said and I fely my legs buckle underneath me. I held his clamy hands and looked at him. "You have a couple days, im sure! Me and Shado will go get some more supplies! Slade, you'll protect him!" I said and I looked at Shado. "We can't go to Fyre's this soon Felicity! We just wiped out 10 of his men!" She said and I sighed. "Shado! I can't just let my Father in Law die! I won't!" I said and she sighed, nodding.
"Fine! But we go now! They won't have the time to regroup!" She said and picked her bow up. I grabbed her arrows and I grabbed my gun, knifes, and bow. "Let's go!" I said and she nodded. She quickly kissed Slade and I nodded in his direction. "Take care of him Slade!" I said and he nodded. "I've got him Kiddo!" He said and I nodded. "We'll be back, in hang there Robert!" I said and left with Shado.
"What if we dont make it? What if we dont do it?" I asked her and she sighed. "We'll make it! Don't worry!" She said and I nodded. "Come on, we need to go, now!" She said and took her arrows from me. She set them on her back before we both ran into the darkness. Off to where we'd either die, or barely make it out of.
"Shh! Two soilders, 12 o'clock!" Shado whispered and I nodded. I took an arrow from behind me and stood beside Shado in the darkness. The black of our clothes keeping us hidden. My blonde hair covered by a hood. "3...2...1...Shoot!" She whispered and we both let our arrows go. They twirled in the air before hitting them in the side of the head. They fell to the ground quietly and we slowly made our way to beside them.
"We don't have much time! Fyre's is in the middle tent, medic is at the top left corner! We need to hurry!" She said and took out the arrows. She handed me mine back and I sighed. "He'll be ok Hummingbird!" She whispered and took my hand; leading me back into the trees so we could make our way to the end of the camp.
"What's going on?" I whispered as I saw men coming in and out of a tent. "I don't know!" Shado whispered and stepped on a twig as she stepped forward. I quickly pulled her down behind the rocks and held my breathe. "What was that?" A deep voice asked and I looked at Shado. I had never seen Shado scared. She was always so strong, but now, she looked just as scared as me. "Check the entrance, left side, they couldn't have gotten this close to us, don't worry, we're fine!" A man said and we heard the thundering of footsteps as the guards ran further and further away.
"Ok. Go!" Shado whispered and pushed us out from behind the rocks. We shot the two remaining guards standing outside amd they fell forwards. "This is too easy Shad!" I whispered and she sighed. "Maybe we should be greatful that it is!" She said back and I nodded. "Let's just get the stuff and go!" I said and she agreed.
We sliped inside the tent and grabbed as many first aid and medical kits we could. We grabbed some survival packs and stuffed them into our bags. "What's mirakuru?" I asked Shado as I saw a few syringes with it labeled on them. "I've heard of it! It's some drug, meant to heal you or make you strong or something!" She said and I nodded. "Should we take them? They could help Robert!" I said and she sighed. "Ok, grab em and let's go!" She said. I took the syringes and stuffed them in the bag before closing it. "Bird! We need to go!" Shado said and I heard the distant footsteps coming closer to us.
"Oh frack!" I whispered and Shado sighed. "Come on! Out the back of yhe tent! Slio under the back!" She intructed as we ran to the back. I slid the bag into the awaiting darkness before following Shado under the tent. It was pitch black but my eyes quickly fixed to the poorly lit setting. "Run!" I whispered as I grabbed Shado and my bag. She grabbed hers and we ran together. Tge weight of the bag holding me down. "Come on Felicity, try and keep up!" She begged as we heard the soilders footsteps behind us.
I could never keep up with either of them. Both Slade and Shado were stronger and taller than me. I could never do it. But this time I could. I stretched out my legs to match hers. My strides matching hers as we took sharp lefts and rights to try and make it back unnoticed. Shado held onto my hand as we pulled each other forward. I was doing it, I was keeping up with her. We continued to run until I fell from exhaustion. "No! Fell come on!" She begged as she tried to help me up. "It hurts Shado!" I coughed and she helped me stand up.
"I'm not leaving you here Felicity! Come on!" She pulled me with her until I started running again. "Come on!" I coughed as I pulled her into me. I spun us so we fell and we rolled under some fallen trees. "Shh!" I whispered as I covered her mouth. I held my breath as they ran past and took a left; heading away from us. I waited five minutes before taking my hand away. "Come on!" I whispered as I rolled off from on top of her. "Thanks for that!" Shado said and I looked at her. "What? Crushing you? Coz I swear you're not the most comfortable person to lie on when you're hiding from armed soilders!" I chirped and she laughed. "Good to see you still have your bubbily sense of humor!" She said and I smiled. "Oliver used to call me that!" I whispered and she looked at me. "Bubbily! He always called me his bubbily IT girl!" I said and smiled at the memories.
"You miss him!" She stated and I sighed; fighting back the tears. "More than anything! It hurts, remembering our old memories, but if I push them away and block them out, I'll lose everything I have left to fight for!" I said and she nodded. "I know it's hard Felicity, but you gotta stay strong here!" Shado whispered and took hold of my hand; pulling me towards the plane. "C'mon, let's hurry and get these to Robert!" She said and starting jogging.
We got inside the plan and as I ran over to Robert. "What's going on?" I asked as I saw Slade sitting with his heads in his hands. "Im sorry Kiddo, he didn't make it!" He said and I felt my heart break. "No!" I whimpered as I knealed down beside him. "You promised you wouldn't leave me!" I felt the tears make their way down my cheeks. "Im so sorry City!" Shado whispered and I shook my head. "No! He had a few days! I know he had a few days! I'm sure!" I cried and felt Shado wrap her arms around my waist. "Let's go City!" She whispered in my ears. I grabbed the book Robert was holding and stuffed it in my jacket. "Let's go outside a minute!" She said and pulled me out into the crisp night air.
